pre-season is sooo unimportant...I really don't care at all...I haven't even bothered to watch a pre-season game yet...

I predict a loss on this one. This is one of those teams that thinks beating LA in the preseason will mean something and the Lakers are just trying to get their star healthy.

Hmm...I dunno man. Rangers just rocked the Yanks and Lincecum-Halladay is a pretty ridonkulous matchup. Hmm.

I don't care that much, W or L, but I hope to see Barnes play good D and feeling more comfortable in the triangle. I also enjoy seeing Blake play.

Stumbled across this game on NBATV when it was in the 1st quarter. That last play by the Patriotic Dude was a great way to finish the half!
“This contract with Joel Anthony is a testament to the man who is second to none; who has worked hard and deserved this,” said Heat President Pat Riley. “We felt that what he has done over the last couple of years in developing his game, his body and his knowledge warrants this reward. If other NBA non-drafted free agents want a prototype to follow, Joel Anthony is that man."

I couldn't care less about the outcome, but it's nice to get a preview of Blake, Barnes, Ratliff, Caracter and Ebanks. It's nice to see these guys for the first time tonight. Ratliff can still block shots in limited minutes. I like the hustle from Barnes and Blake as well. Ebanks did alright out there and Caracter showed me he has the athleticism to play in this league. He probably won't see the floor much this year, but he at least won't embarrass himself if he has to play at some point.

Yeah, Theo has looked better then I expected. He's still a useful player.

Ratliff should be alright so long as we don't ask him to play more than 15 minutes (20 should be his max.) or so a night during the regular season. He can still get off the floor and block shots from what he's shown tonight. It's nice to see us have a reserve center able to finish around the rim as well.

Nice ball movement tonight. The new guys were doing some very nice things earlier. Ratliff = blockfest and that offensive foul that would've been a no call back in '96 he had where everyone was laughing was hilarious. Devin Ebanks is also doing some nice things on the floor. GREAT hustle from him.

What's up with Melo though? Why isn't he playing?
