If I will steal a phrase from Jack Black in Saving Silverman...

The Lakers will eat them... ALIIIIVE.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

I hope he plays so he can get in rythem with the team. I know were all riding a high right now, but the Suns aren't that bad and did cause some trouble for us in the preseason. I know its just preseason, but I hope the Lakers come out like they did tonight!! And boy did they look good!!
Kobe Bryant is better then Michael Jordan.

The Suns are a good team, they played well last night, and almost beat the Spurs, in fact they were beating the spurs for like the entire game, and then the spurs took the lead for the last couple minutes, and beat them.

The Suns are a very good team and have improved much from last year. However, I don't see them beating the Lakers, even in a close game.

I think it will be a very good game, but the Suns can't beat us. Amare will have a good game and it should be fun to watch Marbury and Payton go against each other.

La La Land - 113
Suns - 95

Don't forget, next Thursday we begin our payback against San Antonio, after that game the Spurs will be D.O.A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Road to Revenge will be smooth, we will run things over on the way, a few Spurs, a few Mavericks, and a few Drag Queens :man9:

Lakers win 105-87

On ESPN,Kobe said his knee his feeling alot stronger (hmmm...funny how quitely that upgraded from last night :man9: ),he can do everything he normally can, but his knee gets fired at times and playing is a distinct possibility.
"Sitting in the house, I'm loadin' up the pump. I'm loadin' up the Uzi. I got a couple M-16s, a couple 9s. I got a couple joints with some silencers on them. I'm just loading clips, a couple grenades. I got a missile launcher with a couple of missiles. I'm ready for war." - Kevin Garnett

Update: Kobe Bryant To Play?

Kobe Bryant ... plans to join the lineup in time for their next game, Saturday at Phoenix.

... Jackson said. "I think he'll play on Saturday. He has every intention."
