They're saying 6 weeks. But that's just an expert opinion. They're running an MRI on him tommorow and one of the medical staff members said it was one of the worst sprains he's ever seen.... not looking good for Kobe Bryant.

He will not be out there. My guess is 3-5 weeks, and that's being optomistic. I remember when he rolled his ankle vs. the Pacers in the 2000 finals, I was... ironically... third row at that game as well. But this time around, I have never seen Kobe in so much pain. So the unfortunate answer to your question is, definetely not.

No Kobe so everybody needs to step up. This game will be critical. Everybody is watching.

Can the Lakers do anything without Kobe? That's whats on everyone's minds.

I think they can and will.

I believe so. Last night's game was a season-altering experience for this young team; and that's in the good way.

Expect Bobbitt to be out there soon as well as some more Sasha. But their first road game without #8 will be crucial.

Kobe is out, maybe until after the all-star break?

Sorry to sound like an A-hole guys, but from here on out, we are going to lose all of these games. We are really going to sink bad until Kobe comes back. :man6:

Totally disagree. We will actually play better in terms of finding each person's flow on this team with Kobe out. It will be tough, but we'll be .500 during his absence.

Yep... we will lose to the all-star caliber Warriors since we don't have Kobe. :man10:

I would rather see us put Rudy T out there than to ever play George. Bobbitt is what we need, he gives us D, something we really need right now in our backcourt.

You wouldn't know this, since you were a "Laker" fan at the time, but the year before Odom was a Laker, he played for the Miami Heat. He carried them and they made it to the second round of the playoffs. He was their leader, I think he can do the same thing here with a more talented team.

MRI - Magnetic resonance imaging - is what is used to scan for damage on things other than bone, such as ligaments, tendons, muscle sprains, etc

X-Ray will only tell you if the bone is broken or not.

To see if Kobe has any further damage, he has to have an MRI

I think even without Kobe we can at least beat the Warriors. I want to see what Bobbit can do. I would even like it if Bobbit or Sasha gets the backup PG over Brown. Brown hasn't been all that great and I think it is time to see what they can do. Also I would like to some Walton appearances in this game.
Strikemode14 is the greatest.

I'm going to make a prediction here, maybe bold in the eyes of some people, may not be so hard to understand for others:

The Lakers team is currently 4 games over .500, I say that these Lakers will still be AT LEAST 4 games over .500 by the time Kobe comes back.

I'm not gonna take your opinion seriously, because you predict the Lakers to lose every game and have dumb reasons to back your prediction up. Go back to your lake Image
