this is from the game recap on espn

Lamar Odom couldn't score until a twisting layup with 6:52 left in the third quarter -- and he never scored again.

Im tired of people saying we need to develop players. Were past the rebuilding stage we now are in the playoff stage. Hopefully by 2008 we will be going for the ring. J Rich, mike and troy will hit there prime in 2 years. Baron Davis is already in his prime. The only reason why i think Mully wouldnt do this trade is because hell want to trade for peja or paul at the trade deadline

Great game overall and a big win for us. I think Larmar not showing up was a big dissapointment after such a great game the night before. But Smush KWame, and Mihm all showed up and played big. Kobe was awesome as usual and hope we can keep this up.

My thoughts on the game:

The Good:
I like how the Lakers went inside in the first quarter. We exploited Golden State's weak frontcourt and as a result, Kwame had his best game of the season. Kwame looks so much more comfortable out there and he's getting better each game. He has all the sudden developed a passion for rebounding. It's great to see. Kwame had a couple of plays that saved the Lakers that won't appear on the box score. He drew a key charge down the stretch in the 4th quarter. Also, when Kobe wanted to retaliate against Mike Dunleavy after that cheap foul, Kwame kept Kobe away from him.

Smush was awesome offensively and had key defensive moments. That steal and then dunk on Foyle was a thing of beauty. Like Kwame, one of his best plays won't show up on the stat sheet. He drew charge on a 3 on 1 fast break from Jason Richardson in the fourth quarter.

Chris did a good job getting blocks inside.

Kobe did his thing, like he always does. He is the best player in the NBA period.

The Bad
Transition D. It was horrible.

We tried to play their game instead of playing our game too often during the course of the game. We're not a fast breaking team and we're not a 3 point shooting team. There were times when we went away from the inside game. We got away with it this game due to Golden State's lack of D and their lack of inside presence.

Kobe forced it at times in the fourth quarter. I would have rather seen us run the offense. It worked earlier.

I've defended Lamar all season but it seemed like his head wasn't in the game and he let the foul calls take him out of the game. He did play some decent D, getting a couple of blocks.

Smush and Lamar's missed free throws :bang: I seriously don't understand this bad free throw shooting phenomenon. It seems like GS has the same problem. Jason Richardson was 2 for 8 wtf...

The Ugly
Adonal Foyle looks like a combination of Popeye Jones and Manute Bol. He is one ugly mofo.

Ferguson, we hear you.
RIP Mike Brown.

A few more post game comments
OC Register: "When I get hit, it sharpens me up," Bryant said.

Bryant was also playing his first game with a pad taped to the top of his right hand to protect his latest injury. Playing well in pain has proved to be one of Bryant's hallmarks, to the point Lakers coach Phil Jackson said before the game of Bryant's injury: "I have a tendency just to ignore things like that, because I think he plays through them well."

When Golden State's Mike Dunleavy fouled Bryant in the head, it was the third consecutive game Bryant has taken a hit. Bryant shoved Dunleavy and pointed at him the way Bryant did after Dallas' Josh Howard flagrantly fouled him earlier this season.

"Kobe is the top player in the league," Warriors guard Jason Richardson said. "He's going to show up every night. He won the game. He took the game over."

Bryant said his vision was obscured after Dunleavy's foul, explaining he could only look clearly to the right and not straight ahead. Parker scoffed at the idea that Bryant would be derailed by the blow, saying Bryant could deliver on the court "even if he's on crutches."

"Kobe could have his whole body get hurt, and it probably does and he's going to play through anything," Parker said.

But Bryant also avoided trying to pay back Dunleavy.

"We stayed relatively calm," Jackson said, noting that Bryant and his teammates were able to avoid forcing the ball to Bryant in the second half the way they did in the first half when they saw the smaller Derek Fisher guarding him.

Bryant said his right hand felt "pretty good," though it was hit "five times" in the first half.

"This one's going to take a while (to heal)," Lakers trainer Gary Vitti said of the sprained wrist and bruised hand that has left deep discomfort between Bryant's fourth and fifth metacarpals.

Those comments are really funny. They all seem to hate Murphy and one of them hates Murphy, Dunleavy, and Biedrens. They have as bad of a frontline as we're going to see in the NBA.
