My thoughts on the game:
The Good:
I like how the Lakers went inside in the first quarter. We exploited Golden State's weak frontcourt and as a result, Kwame had his best game of the season. Kwame looks so much more comfortable out there and he's getting better each game. He has all the sudden developed a passion for rebounding. It's great to see. Kwame had a couple of plays that saved the Lakers that won't appear on the box score. He drew a key charge down the stretch in the 4th quarter. Also, when Kobe wanted to retaliate against Mike Dunleavy after that cheap foul, Kwame kept Kobe away from him.
Smush was awesome offensively and had key defensive moments. That steal and then dunk on Foyle was a thing of beauty. Like Kwame, one of his best plays won't show up on the stat sheet. He drew charge on a 3 on 1 fast break from Jason Richardson in the fourth quarter.
Chris did a good job getting blocks inside.
Kobe did his thing, like he always does. He is the best player in the NBA period.
The Bad
Transition D. It was horrible.
We tried to play their game instead of playing our game too often during the course of the game. We're not a fast breaking team and we're not a 3 point shooting team. There were times when we went away from the inside game. We got away with it this game due to Golden State's lack of D and their lack of inside presence.
Kobe forced it at times in the fourth quarter. I would have rather seen us run the offense. It worked earlier.
I've defended Lamar all season but it seemed like his head wasn't in the game and he let the foul calls take him out of the game. He did play some decent D, getting a couple of blocks.
Smush and Lamar's missed free throws

I seriously don't understand this bad free throw shooting phenomenon. It seems like GS has the same problem. Jason Richardson was 2 for 8 wtf...
The Ugly
Adonal Foyle looks like a combination of Popeye Jones and Manute Bol. He is one ugly mofo.
The worst thing to call somebody is crazy. It's dismissive. I don't understand this person, so they're crazy. That's [BS]. -- Dave Chapelle
This was not just a jersey to throw on. This wasn’t just a game to play. This was an honor, and to wear the “Purple and Gold” was a responsibility. -- Derek Fisher
I hate close-ups of Kobe. He reminds me of the little green aliens who experimented on me in their spaceship. -- Blazer Fan
