we have a chance simply b/c GS doesnt play any D. hopefully kobe's injury isnt serious. he'll be fresh. GS is in a slump right now...we gotta get a little momentum heading into the heat game. lakers by 5. :jam2:

our defense lately hasnt been good at all. Especially limiting dribble penetration. I can see Davis going to the hoop at will.

same here. I think Dunleavy is not a good fit for Lamar defensively either.
I think it all depends on how we defend. If we allow 100+ we lose and if we limit them to about 90-95 we will win.

They have lost 4 straight and they really suck lately but they will be very motivated against the Lakers because they know about this games value. I don´t know what to expect. I hope for a win though :jam2:

Warriors now are on 4-game losing streak, but Blazers was on 6-game losing streak and then they snapped it against Lakers...
We must beat em and show why Warriors suck...

if lamar plays like the lamar vs the cavs...we'll win. he'll be able to do whatever he wants and pick apart the warriors "defense", if you can call it that.

We need to learn from Portland game: be humble.
Any team, if properply motivated, can beat any team. Particularly teams that dont play D well. Warriors have excellent backcourt that can kill from down town and some young guns. We got to play D better to win.

1. We have eased up on the road. Beaten by Heat, Wizzards, Utah, Portland....Seems like we have started to go back to the basics and play horrible defense specially on the road. Really I don´t feel any comfortable like I did in december. If we lose it becomes obvious we will have to FIGHT for the playoffs.
Nontheless I think the thing that goes unnoticed is we beat some good teams lately (Clippers, Cleveland, Indy and 76ers. These are all not good on the road but nontheless we managed to win somehow. We have to start playing some teamball again and some defense.

Last time Lakers played in Goldenstate..they booed and taunted Kobe relentlessly. Lakers got killed..Warriors were up by 40 at one point :mad1:

Im sure Kobe will remeber that. :mhihi:

A must win.

And if anyone says that "it's just one game BS" im gonna b*tch slap them.

Show no mercy, they're down, let's keep em down.

Play defense, balanced offense.

We should win this game.

Did You Know?
According to NBA.com, the Lakers are one of only 7 teams throughout the entire league to have a winning record at home and on the road.

The Lakers currently post a 19-17 record.

Defense, defense, defense, boardwork from the frontline. Game will be shown on a delayed telecast here which means I'll have a choice to watch it when LA wins and ignore it when they lose because I'll just have a headache...

Kobe will do the rest.. the other guys must help to keep this game close..

Anybody else afraid of the three point line? GS can easily knock down 20 three pointers if they get hot. J_Rich, Davis, Dunleavy, Murphy, Fisher, Pietrus..... We better defend the longrange but unfortunetly Odom is someone who would rather walk inside and allow Dunleavy uncontested looks. Smush also has to stick with BD or he will destroy him at will ( will probably happen). Somehow I feel confident about Kwame and Murphy. Kobe also better play D against J-Rich.
