Also, the Lakers have improved their record to 10-9.

And as a sidenote, with Miami's loss tonight, the Heat currently sit at 10-10.

Both Minnesota and LA are coming off 4 straight wins.

I really hope we can win this one. If we win this, id officially call this road trip a success cause we cant get lower than .500.

C'mon Lakers, lets keep it rolling. :jam2:

I always thought the day Sasha starts for LA and/or plays the most minute in the game is a sad day and that Atlanta >>>>> Lakers but things have changed. We have won 4 in a raw and now I want the 5th. I want retaliation for the home loss. Damn imagine we would have ebaten Chicago at home, NJ, Minny and we would have won in Philly. We would be 14-5 now :bang: but I guess you first have to lose close games before winning them.

Yes this will be a test for the Lakers - and either way, a learning experience. Very important game for both clubs.

So is Kwame coming back for this game?

If so, i'd bring him offf the bench...i just hav a feeling he can produce more with that 2nd unit....

But anyway...I think we're starting to see what this Laker team can do when they play together...the next 3 games are all tough...the teams records combineed are 38-17!

Interesting Stats: In the month of December...Lamar is averaging 17.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 7.3 apg and shooting 50.6% from the field...Kobe is averaging 24.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, and 6.3 apg while shooting 42.5%....Smush Parker is averaging 16.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.5 spg while shooting 52.2% fromt he field and 48.5% from 3pt land....Lakers are 5-1 in the month of december...

Lakers are now 5-3 since Luke Walton returned...and 6-5[b] without Kwame in the lineup...

i really like our chances against Minny bcuz

1. We havent played Odom and Kobe more than 33 minutes in the last 2 road games of this road trip, so they will be well rested
2. Our bench has gained the confidence on the road to stay in the game and make things happen...force TO's...run the offense...get easy baskets
3. We will NOT lose 3 times to the Twolves this early in the season
4. They are coming off a 4 game road trip....usually that first game back is tough to win

annd i'd add one more reason....and thats if Kwame comes back...our interior D will be better...of coruse after watching sweetney dominate us again...i got sick to my stomach

it would defninitely suck bigtime if we already give up the series to Minny (could be important for the tie-breaker) and already lose 3 times to Minny who I think have been overachieving, I mean they have KG, a semi-reliable Wally and crap.

I actually think we will win this one , and the dallas one , not memphis though. Simple because we killed dallas last season , remember? both away and they had there throwback jerseys? and kobe had blocked dirk , passed it to jj on the break , missed layup and kobe put it back? good vintage kobe.

I think this is ours too. This team is on fire right now, playing their best basketball of the season, maybe the last 2 seasons. No way we forget how they stole that last game, and I expect us to burry them this time and keep the streak goin

The key though will be keying on Wally on D. I like the recent lineup flexibility and integration with our bench, but Phil's gonna have to put someone on him that can stay home and not let him get those cheap 3s that got htem back in the game last time. Either way, Im sure well be fired up for tonite, 2 games over 500, 5 game streak, 4-0 on the road trip!! :jam2:

My preview will be up on the main page shortly. Troy Hudson may not play. He has been having some problems with his knee, was seeking an MRI yesterday I believe.
