If you think this is a gimmie you might not want to watch this one.
How do I know Jesus loves me so much he doesn't want me working the whole weekend?
Exodus 31:15 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.
Don't believe those lies, son! The only lies worth believing are the ones in the Bible! Can I get an amen?

Been watching bobcat games over here cause of the local team...the bobcats, like the nets, are a very resilent team. We better not coast when we get a lead or well end up in another upset.

If we lost to the Nets, all 8 of them...then we sure as hell are going to lose to the Cats.

Okafor will own us.

If we lose to the cats then we should just call ourselves the Los Angeles Hornets for the rest of the season.

Why all are so pessimistic? Ok, now we are 9th :man4: in West... But Bobcats isn't that strong to defeat LAKERS!

We aren't playing good, smart ball right now. We've lost three in a row, and we've fell out of the playoffs.

Time to seperate the loyals from the bandwagoners...

Let's do this Lakers!

Whoa, such pessimism from people on here. Every post up to this one here is about how bad we stink and basically saying we're hopeless. It really does run hot and cold around here doesn't it? One day, we're "close to being a contender" and the next day we're "pathetic" and can't compete with an expansion team. :man3:

We gave up 100+ points in 6 of the last 7 Games. Our bleeps won´t play D against the bobcats. I predict 115 points for the Bobcats and a win by 30. Thats not a joke. :mad1:

Any game right now is going to be tough for the Lakers. They're not playing well at all...and I'm not sure that giving everyone on the roster a few minutes is the thing to do. Why is Slava playing? Why is Grant only playing 5 minutes? Rudy and Mitch need to make some decisions and then the corresponding moves. I'm glad I can't watch the Lakers right now because it would be too stressful. Lakers will still win this one, I think, 99-94

Do you really mean we can keep the under 100 :man10: :man10: :man10: :man10: :man10: I predict Odom fouls out Brezec creams Cook and their Guards go nutz on Sucky.

:man5: This could be the Lakers lowest point of the season... Rudy has proven again and again that he is stupid.. He keeps on insisting on finishing games with Cook instead of Mihm.

Maybe people don't understand this . . . but a win tomorrow muts us 4 games over .500, and back into the playoffs. We were only 3 games over .500 when Kobe left. Remember?

Most possible scenario:
Lakers beat the Bobcats
Grizzlies beat the Hawks
Timberwolves lose to the Kings
Rockets are idle.

Then it shapes up like:
6. Grizzlies
7. Lakers
8. Houston
9. Timberwolves

good point. Rockets have to face the Heat and te Wolves have to face the Kings. Plus Pau Gasol is still out with PF so you never know. All could go either way. If we win against charlotte we could actually make some good ground up.

BG just might come in handy tonight unless LO's veteran skillz can outwit Okafor & Brezec. :disagree:

LA Times: Kareem Rush returns to Staples Center tonight, when the Lakers play the expansion Charlotte Bobcats. Rush, who was traded by the Lakers for two second-round draft picks last month, has thrived since leaving his role as Bryant's backup at shooting guard. He is averaging 12.6 points in the 24 games since the trade, 21 points in the last three.

"It's going to be fun playing against my old teammates and friends. I'm excited to go back to California. I love it there. I loved playing for the Lakers the last couple years and it was a great experience. But now I'm here in Charlotte and I'm going to go out there and try to beat them."

We better put JJ on Rush and not Caron. I don't want Rush going for a career high on us.
