Kobe 10/22! Good shooting but FT :man2: He could have had 40 points tonight :man2:

guys i know that it's tough to see kobe have a shaq-like night at the line...but dont get too carried away here...the man plays injured and he plays hard and his team is up 10...everyone has sucky nights at the line...even hornacek once missed 3 free throws in the final minute of a playoff game...so let's just be happy with the victory and know that Kobe will never miss 8 free throws in a game again...

Well, that's the game I guess.

My final thoughts out of all of this: WE NEED BETTER BENCH PLAYERS.

And of course the big difference for tonight: CHRIS MIHM. He carried the team in the 4th when they needed points. As soon as he went in, they started playing well.

They get the win... didn't play all that well, but well enough to win, what matters the most.

Their defense still needs a lot of work. Kobe had one of those weird games, and Mihm is still battling the gi problem.

The bench didn't help out tonight, but they weren't needed...

Milwaukee will be tougher.

Relax...Kobe still pulled us out to victory in the end.

This team needs Vlade back though...if we get the ball to him and everyone moves off of the ball, good things will happen. Getting Malone back would also be nice.

Bench guys are gonna have to step up consistently.

Better bench? Vlade JJ George! ONce this guys are back we will be better! I don´t know how good but i know better! MIhm was aforce tonight again! He is pretty inconsistent but he flashes greatness! He is going to be very servicable this season!

A win is a win. It want pretty but we got it done.

Kobe had a good game. Not great, but good

29, 10, 7

10/22 (45%)

9 TO's

8/17 from the free throw line

Most importantly Kobe had a very good 4th, lead this team to a win. Got to the line instead of forcing poor shots at the end, and trusted teammates setting them up to win.

Kobe just proved that he needs to drive in to the basket.

#1 it created opportunities for all his teammates.

#2 he shoots much better when he drives in.

#3 he confuses the opponent's defense for the entire game.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Hopefully Mihm's minutes would not suffer when Vlade returns..

Stat wise, I'd give that a B- to B grade at most because of those yucky turnovers and his free throw shooting.

Would have nice if he had 1 more TO. He should've gotten 10 asst. At one stretch he dished like 6 straight times. 1 score. His guys weren't hitting from the 3 pt line. Quadruple-double following a triple-double. If you're going to throw it away that many times might as well might it memorable.

Butler shot 35% from the game and took 20 shots...

I like the three guys grabbing 10+ rebounds. And all around every starter scoring in double figures...

Defense needs improvement. The defense they played tonight will not be sufficient to beat Milwaukee... so they better pick it up!
