31 bench points! THAT'S WHAT WE NEED!
Image
Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Im lovin Slava and Russell

Their the spark we need of the bench for us!

Now I'm so happy we got Russell, because he needed a few games to get his confidence and flow together, and now he's playing great. I love it

:man9: I was impressed with Slava tonight.. good shooting.. but he still lacks the physical presence to match up with the West's prime power forwards and centers when Shaq's out. :man3:
"Stu" should be the man...

Box Score: http://www.nba.com/games/20031123/MEMLAL/boxscore.html

If Kareem Rush would have scored, every single Laker would have points.

Rydjorker121, I'm going to let this comment go for now. I'm original from South Florida, but now I reside in Memphis 10. And, trust me there no ranches here in Memphis. I bet you want come to Memphis and talk that s???, because these boys would split your wig. If it's so country here, how come the great Jerry West decided to move his family here? So, do me a favor and shut the hell up when it concern a place you've never been. Oh yeah, don't step wrong nephew or the ELF will have to show you how a South South Florida kid regulate things. You better asked about me nephew. Don't come wrong or I will have to show you.

Ok, sorry guys now I will go back to been the nice ELF. Our Beloved Lakers crushed these boys. Look out for the new ELF Report coming the first Wednesday in December.

I'm the ELF and I'm out.

So about that weak bench debate... anyone want to keep debating me? Our bench was there all the way. Further proving the true inner strength of this bench.

I'm still trying to figure out if this was a game or a highlight reel? Could someone help me...? :man12:

Also, by December/January, this team will be literally unstopable...

Do we really need to have playoffs? Or can they just hand out the rings early and call it a day...? :man9:

It was a blowout, but not a real highlight reel... a few good plays here and there.

Once we get Fox back our bench is gonna be tough. Slava's breaking out, Russell's getting his shot back, Ho is hitting his jumpers... we just need Fisher to break from his slump.

ok...

Postby crucifido on Sun Nov 23, 2003 10:08 pm

So who was it on here that was endlessly wanting to trade everyone and clean out our bench?

Didn't some of us tell you to be patient and wait for the injuries to heal and let the bench fill itself back up? Isn't this team STILL without it's best defender (Rick Fox) and a scoring power forward (Brian Cook)? What happens to the rest of the elague when this team starts rolling in December?

Sometimes patience pays off and it's about to pay off in the best way possible in L.A..

And by the way,
Malone = incredible
Russell = excellent
Medvedenko = impressive season debut
Payton = amazing
Kobe = (no words to describe)
Horace = effective as hell
Rush = looking like cut bait
Walton = diamond in the not-so-rough

They'll be slight adjustment for Devean as Rick gets closer to coming back on the court. I expect it'll take him at least a week after Rick's return to get his full game back into gear under his new role.

Derek'll be back, just a slump, everyone hits 'em. Rather have him hit it now than closer to the playoffs. He's a worker and demands a lot of himself, he'll be back to what we all know within the week.

Slava is the man. On the same note, kick out sampson, and bring in wang zhi zhi. Slave is a great man to man defender, and what amazed me the most was that he was grabbing massive boards. Also Luke has some game, way more game that rush. I think we should dump rush, if it means picking up wang zhi zhi. We need some asain pride going up in the lakers. hehe

There's no room to pick Zhi Zhi up even after they dump someone upon Rick's return. It won't happen.
