Go to the NBA Discussion and talk about the Heat some more.
What do you get when you fall in love? You only get lies and pain and sorrow.
I feel so much like giving up

You're the one who should speak of being a traitor. As soon as Shaq got traded, Shaq Fan truly showed his colors regarding the team.

No, you're a fan who knows nothing about basketball and posts for a reaction.

The fact that you think Kevin Willis, a 42 year old veteran who plays 20 minutes a game, is going to "dominate" the middle just shows how much you know about basketball.

If you want to call anyone a traitor, holler at your boy Shaquille.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

I hope that Rudy decides to try Sasha out. I don't really think Tierre is doing much so why don't you try Sasha to see what he can do out of the shooting slump

Don't know how much this matters but the Lakers are ranked 6th in Sagarin's rating system. The Hawks are 23rd. Incidentally, the Lakers opponents so far this year are 1st, 3rd, and 11th. According to his scheme, Lakers are 11 point favorites. Just thought this might serve to soften the blow of a 1-2 start.

Shaq Fan calling someone a traitor. First, you have no room to talk. Second, Realm is not a traitor (team first, players second). Third, I don't know where you get this notion that you have the place or right to knock anyone, after all the :man2: you have done during your stay here, I'd just keep quiet. And forth, before you accuse anyone else of anything, I would suggest that you learn what it means first, instead of reading the word of your word of the day toilet paper.

You must be speaking of Laker fans in general as opposed to me specifically . I was WELL aware of the talent on the Jazz. My first post was " I thought Arroyo was out?" because contrary to what a lot of people think Arroyo is actually REAL. Not great but h is a real player.

This game is a must win. Period.
How do I know Jesus loves me so much he doesn't want me working the whole weekend?
Exodus 31:15 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.
Don't believe those lies, son! The only lies worth believing are the ones in the Bible! Can I get an amen?

Why are you already predicting a win? I mean, the other night when I watched the Lakers play Utah they had 23 field goals... they are a new team, trying to find a "new identity"

I would not draw conclusions against the Hawks.. ya they are a bad team and all, but they have not won a game yet, and are hungry for a win.. i look for the hawks to keep it close throughout the game

Well said shizz, preparing oneself for an "inevitable blowout" is only setting oneself up for disappointment. I'm reading guys talking about how bad the Hawks are but yet we're not exactly the creme of the crop either right now.

This is the first week of the season fellas. No one is as good as they look right now and no one is as bad as they look right now. For all we know this just might be an 8th seed playoff team, so we need to go out there with the same mindset as if we were playing the Spurs, Jazz, etc.......

Getting back to the game.......

Postby rockspictures on Sun Nov 07, 2004 8:23 am

IMO this will be a game where we will see Odom, Butler and Mihm dominate. Kobe will have 10+ assists. Lakers by 10. :ball5:

This won't happen. They can't play worse than they did in Utah, and even if they played as bad as Utah, it would still be like a 10 pt. blowout.

We're talking about the Atlanta Hawks.
