Wow solid game by the Lakers... didn't expect them to dominate the Hawks. I guess they are really really bad.

Probably one of the top teams for that #1 pick... Three blowout losses.

A good way to end the homestand and kick off what can or will be a brutal road trip.

Tierre got 21 minutes tonight...the Lakers real PG.
Atkins with 27 minutes.
And Sasha with the huge minutes tonight...we are going to have to sit him for a few games, after playing him that much...1 minute...that will really wear you out. I think he is going to be forced into early retirement with that much wear and tear on his body.

A win is a win, but a blowout is a blowout.

Winning big does wonders for confidence, and we'll need this confidence in our road trip.

I just put all those things up, just to give an idea of what we should be getting after two and half horrible games.

I really hope Mihm could find some consistency...who was guarding him?

All around I feel that we played a pretty good game but we are way to careless with the basketball. Kobe himself is one of the main culprits and I expect him to be more mindful of decreasing the turnovers by improving his sloppy ballhandling.

I was so impressed with the way we played the team game out there, Kobe was leading the way with unselfish pass after unselfish pass. It is an absolute pleasure to witness him going through the maturation process this year, his game is growing quite nicely.

Tierre played a solid game, I really like what he brings to the table offensively. He's playing with a high level of confidence right now and will hopefully improve on the defensive end as the season rolls along.

Mihm is doing exactly what I expected from him, swatting shots and getting after rebounds and loose balls. He needs to toughen up in the paint and I think increased playing time will help by improving his comfort level with his increased minutes. I like the way he catches the ball in crowds but it seems to me that he's better catching it in the air than on the ground! Weird....

Caron played very well as did Odom. I really like the comraderie on this team and the energy they exude out on the floor. Let's just hope that the energy stays at a high level when we go out onto that road trip!

And more commentary from you. As expected. Not saying anything for yourself, merely critiquing others.


His comments were actually pretty funny. Don't get too high over inferior opponent victories at home. Just like the world isn't falling after defeats to NBA Title Contenders at home. Losing to Utah was disappointing.

This team is going through a learning process. It's important to illustrate that in BOTH wins & losses. Don't make it convienent excuses for failure and then ignore them when they do succeed. They played well. Now they face much superior opponents (compared to the Hawks) and on the road.

They lost 2 games to Memphis in Memphis last year, they lost in New Orleans as well. Houston is improved and Orlando is playing well also. If Laker fans are going to state "growing pains" for failure, then please take it into account for this upcoming road trip.
