Christ, who do the Hawks have? Only threat I see there is Al Harrington and Antoine Walker.

It's a damn shame if we lose this game.

They will crush the Hawks. After a hell of a game against the Spurs, they will be ready to step over the Hawks, and improve their record to 2-2.

Here's the scores of the last two (only two) Hawks game this season thus far:

Game 1:
Hawks 82
Suns 112

Game 2:
Hawks 85
Sonics 106

---

As you can see, the Hawks have just been crushed by those teams. I expect them to be crushed again... Also, take into consideration also that this will be their third consecutive away game.

Okay... I will put this out there early. If the Lakers don't dominate the Hawks... I will begin to worry.

Please Lakers, don't make Antoine Walker look like an all-star. For the love of God. Don't overrate him more than he already is... :man11:

Brandon's Analysis
The Lakers and Hawks are both coming off losses in this game, where the Lakers are pushed to focus on rebounding and defending the paint...while the Hawks need to focus on everything, from scoring and their offensive sets, to defending every square inch of the court.

The Lakers will have to watch for Walker, who can get hot from beyond the arc, and Kevin Willis, who's been a surprise in the paint. However, with Walker playing more around the perimeter, the Lakers should have no problem pulling defensive rebounds in this game, and should take off for the fast break and run this team all game long.

The Hawks have Childress in hopes to contain Kobe, while putting Harrington on Butler and Walker on Odom. Huge advantages for the Lakers...so the Hawks may have to resort to a zone defense if they want to hold the Lakers under 100 points.

Brandon's Prediction
Not a very hard prediction...the Lakers have this one by 21 points, 111-90.

The Hawks are a terrible team. This should be an easy win, especially since it's at home. Plus the Lakers can't afford any losses to bad teams this season. 2-2 should be no problem.

Come on guys you are underrating them! What if Harrington and Walker runs hot? I mean we MUST win and hopefully will win but you should respect the opposition! I´m happy if we win no matter by 1 or by 38!
I hope Kobe burns Childress and drops 46! :man13:

hahahhaha

Why are you already predicting a win? I mean, the other night when I watched the Lakers play Utah they had 23 field goals... they are a new team, trying to find a "new identity"

I would not draw conclusions against the Hawks.. ya they are a bad team and all, but they have not won a game yet, and are hungry for a win.. i look for the hawks to keep it close throughout the game

Lakers better top the 100 point mark.
Beat the Hawks by 20+
Out rebound the Hawks
Double - double by Lamar Odom
At least 25 - 5 - 5 by Kobe
Six players should hit double figures
They must get over 20 assists.
And no one on the Hawks should score over 25 points.
