terrible game by the lakers. too much turnovers. suprising (bad) game by kobe especially with the turnover. i hope we dont play like this on the road because we might even lose to the bulls. a win is a win. it a good thing we won and sac lost.

Chucky always elevated his game in the 4th he can really be clutch!
Why is Odom never scoring in the 2nd and 3rd! He always starts very strong but he sucks once the game progresses! He doesn´t even try to score and he doesn´t take shots! Odom avarages something i think around 10 FGA per game and thats not enaugh! I want him to shoot around 15-20 like he did in Miami!

Why can't Kobe have less turnovers. Such a nice line for my fantasy bball team. But, the turnovers. Booo........

Kobe does seem to be thinking too much out there, trying too hard.

Just as a side note, almost as exciting as tonight's Lakers win, is that the Raiders beat the Broncos! I HATE the Broncos and my boss is a huge Raiders fan so it's a bonus both ways.

true, but he does have the luxury of playing with garnett, u cud say that for kobe too i guess. mitch didnt wana gamble, mchale did i guess. But what do u guys think about kobes shooting and turnovers, he's forcing stuff too much, friday night he shot the ball well, but he had that turnover in the end.

The team was driving me insane, but fortunately for me and the lakers I had to leave and pick up my g/f at the airport.

But I said before the game I'd be happy if they kept New Orleans under 90. And they did exactly that, so I'm happy. Even though I still saw the holes in the defense, and this might be more a case of new orleans not having enough firepower (cough-mashburn,magloire,davis)... but i'll give the credit to the laker defense.


14 points and 14 rebounds... Odom is doing quite well in that regard. I'd like him to be more of a #2 scoring option, in the area of a 17-10 guy, instead of the 14-10 guy that he is. But that's ok...

Cook. Definitely most improved laker. And I love his defense, especially his help defense. And I noticed some improvement in his individual defense, something that he'll need to improve on, but looks promising (unlike Slava). But I like when Cook takes around 7-9 shots. He's had a few "good" games but the box scores reads 5-12. That's why his shooting percentage is surprisingly lower than most of the other lakers.

Overall, they got the win, kept New Orleans under 90, and won by more than 10 points. The journey wasn't fun, the end result was.

Kobe was off his game, I don't think it was anything in particular. Just an off game. I could see that seconds after tip-off, the turnovers and missed shots and his lacksadaisacal defense.

Onto the back to back road trip. Gotta play defense, and gotta win BOTH of these games.

I know my expectations are raising but they have to considering that they've lost every big game and split every back to back game.

The next loss I expect from the Lakers is against the Clippers (away game). But for now, gotta beat Milwaukee... Kobe's "good" defense has to show itself against Redd again!

another win for the lakers. this was my first time being at a laker game ever, it was really fun for me. i got to sit on the 7th row too so I was pretty close. first time I saw any of these players for real. hehe.

I haven't posted in a while...almost a year, so bare with me.

The Lakers started out slow, but they did what they were suppose to do.
We may be having problems with the elite teams out there, but we are beating the lower class teams in the league...and that's something positive I can take. I'm happy with the win, but again it is the Hornets. We expect to beat this team. Can't wait to see us beat the Minn. and Sac of the NBA, before I can be happy.

I just hope that Vlade can play more in this game, but he still easing his way into the line up. Right now he is still in his training camp mode. It will take time.

The upcoming road trip is a good test for us. The back to back game is going to be hard. I hope that we can take both the Bucks and the Bulls.

I just hope the team realizes how important it is to win these games against mediocre teams. Can't go around sleep walking like they did last game and give away that ever important W.
