We're gonna slaughter these kids because Malone's gonna be pissed.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Now this is a game where we can't let our guard down. We're back to facing the subpar teams but somehow we seem to have trouble annihilating them. The Jazz don't have many shooters and we need to arrive and come play at this game--and guess who is back but none other than Karl Malone. Old friend--or enemy? Anyhow we need to respond and play with killer instinct and a vengeance--like what we did today--and stretch out our game. Andrei Kirilenko will have a defensive impact for sure but for everyone else there's not much, so this game can't be underestimated.

We're going to crush the Jazz and Malone is going to go for a 30+ point game. He's going to call for the ball every time down. It's going to be very entertaining to watch. :man9:

I think I may go out on a limb and put Malone as the leading scorer for my Good Call prediction. :shaq1:

Dont forget kobe now, the jazz organization also bashed him along with karl as well.
I expect kobe to be the player of the game and the one with the most points as he usually does anywayz. :jam2:

Shaq said in a post-game interview that they're going to give the ball to him every time down. Even though I don't believe that, I believe Malone will get more touches than usual.

So do I, Malone is really going to become an offensive machine this game. It's going to be interesting...

I think we'll see a bit of the old malone, but I don't think he'll score 30. I want him and Kobe to own these losers.

Maybe in the 20's with good shot selection or good shooting?

It'll depend on whether or not his patented fade-away jumper is falling, but I bet he'll get a lot inside the paint. :jam2:

But of course, i'm even starting a tradition for the game. I buy twix and open it and eat it after Shaq gets his first assist or when I see him get one.

I think this game will not be a blowout. I smell a Laker victory but it won't come easy since utah is fighting to stay at that #8 spot.

Kings and T-Wolves were fighing to maintain the top seeding and look what happened. I agree it won't be a blowout, but I think it's because we don't do as well as we should do againt sub-par teams.

nice observation, but motivation/ determination of the Jazz might not match the Laker's all-around talent, and since they're on a roll Sunday might be their night...

Another guy we need to keep watch on....Raul Lopez. He's been shooting lights out against us, and Jerry Sloan always motivates his kids to play well, but I think Malone's reunion and our determination in our past few games will help us clinch a V.
