I never said it's ok for him to shoot that many shots, only making fun of that overused, stupid stat that we automatically lose when Kobe gets 30. There's obviously a lot more to thy stat than just the point total.

This, and dwight looked better later in the game in the post. I think he needs to be more aggressive and go more quickly instead of waiting for the double team and passing out. Made all his free throws too. Definitely improving.

Did Kobe just say how next year might be his last playing in Philly unless we make the finals?

The Lakers move to 11-14 on the season with a 111-98 win over the 76ers (12-12). They did it largely with some impressive three point shooting (14-34, .412), a solid (for them) AST/TO ratio (22/14), and by getting six players into double digits.

The Sixers got some solid interior D from former Laker Kwame Brown (8 boards, 3 offensive, 3 blocks) in 22 minutes of play, and Nick Young dropped 30 points, the most he has scored in a game since February.

Kobe Bryant played 40 minutes again, but he looked good. The Lakers have just two games in the next eight days, so keep an eye out for Pau Gasol and Steve Nash who could be returning from injuries that have kept them out for long stretches.

YES!!!! They'll be back before the 3rd game. Definitely nash.

Also, kobe with 6assts. and last game with 7assts. While scoring 30+ in both. I think with kobe it shouldn't be him scoring 30+, or shooting alot, but finding that balance in getting assists. Last game he shot 29 times as well.
