Sun 1/30 - Lakers vs Celtics - Predictions & Comments

I swear, it's like the Lakers just don't even practice or something. With the Celtics, you watch them execute and it's like "of course he makes that shot, he practices it" or "of course that play worked, they've done it a million times." with the Lakers it's like "oh, I guess our natural talents aren't working today, kobbbeee help us "

So much of what they did wrong today, and really in almost every major loss they have had, has just been stuff that professional basketball players should not fail to do. They just look so clueless sometimes, like totally clueless. Dig themselves into holes, start taking bad shots, get tired, and before they know it, it's a blowout. They're still a good team, I mean 4th overall in the league, great stats(all up from last year), most teams would love to be in their position. But, when you're pitching for your third championship in a row, when you have all the talent in the world to get there. It's just not good enough to suck in this way.

The trends with all of their losses this season have been very disturbing, and while I know that they are still CAPABLE of playing big and making it work. Next to the Spurs or Celtics they are starting to look like a College team.

By looking at the boxscore says nothing. I actually thought KB had 2 or 3 assists. How about Pau stop playing like a wuss, man up, and SHOW SOME HEART! Kobe passed the ball. Is it his fault if guys either pass the shot up or brick? No damn reason why Pau should have gotten outplayed by KG like that.

Today the clouds rained on us outside, the Celtics rained on the Lakers, and the Lakers rained on us fans. I might be wrong for saying this, but I want a trade NOW. At least one person on this team has to go, and I'm not talking about Luke (but of course I would LOVE for him to leave). I don't have anyone specific in mind (but I have a slate of candidates), but that's how I feel right now. This loss sucks hard.

Odom...Hate to say it, but I'm done with him. I'll still cheer for the guy, but I'm done expecting him to come through for us in big games.

Fisher would be fine off the bench. Can't get anyone for Shannon of equal value who can out play him. Artest and Luke I'm fine with trading depending on the pickup. Trading Odom.. that's just dumb.

pau can't get deep position against KG/Davis/Perkins

he posts up 16 feet from the basket because he's a weakling, even though KG is skinny he still uses his body better and pushes Pau out to the FT line

Perkins takes out Bynum's lower body with his strength and doesn't let Bynum get a good base on his shot, so he's off balance

Celtics will win the chip this year in my opinion, and it hurts to say that

Bynum had Perkins sealed PLENTY of times. Our wings just REFUSED to go inside.
