Props to Kobe and Drew. Kobe's defense wasn't great though, but Gordon is tough cover for anybody.

Ron and Shannon were so-so.

But the rest sucked.

Our defense period wasn't great. It's realll easy to point at KB since EG had 30, but as a team, we were just scrambling on D and gave up big shots with the shot clock low. Now of course, I'm not excusing Kobe because he has to defend his guy better, but like I said, some of his shots, especially the 3's, we got because of the scrambling.

I didn't think the refs were THAT bad as they usually are, but that T on Drew (when he reacted after not getting FT's) were HUGE for the Clips. They missed many calls for us.

Kobe allowing 4/7 from Gordon on 3's was bad and Kobe's 1/7 from 3's was just about as bad.

Kobe's defense and offense isn't good when he sits out 6+ minutes and tries to come back in and play. It's dumb he keeps sitting until the 7 minute mark in the 4th, he rarely has a good 4th quarter anymore because of it.

i appreciate Fisher for all that he's done, but common!!!!
the guy is no longer a starting lineup PG.
leave him on the bench for playoffs and clutch times and bring a guy that actually controls the game and can hit shots when he's open.
and no, Blake is not that guy.
Artest is a bench player also. sometimes i think he has butter on he's hands. just can't catch the ball.
Bring Lamar to the starting line up instead of artest.

Kobe didn't allow Gordon to shoot 4/7 on threes. He didn't even cover him most of the time...and certainly wasn't on him when Gordon hit a 3 to end the quarter.

Well he didn't against the Nets when Drew completely stunk the court up. In that game Pau had 9 rebounds and Drew had 5 and Pau has more per game on the season per game. It is easy to say when he is needed the most, and Pau hasn't played as well as LA needs him, but just one game ago he didn't let them down when as I said Drew couldn't do anything against Lopez.

Drew hasn't been allowed to play the last two games. At least five questionable fouls called against him and at least two horrible calls.

Something has got to be done at PG, Fisher and Blake are killing the Lakers

When Pau is being defended by a 6'8 Griffin and Diogu, of course I want him to do better. What I'm saying is, in quite a few games since Drew's been back, he has outplayed Pau in way less minutes. Is it wrong for me (and others included) to want Pau to play better than Drew, Blake, and Ike? Drew, who isn't 100% yet, and undersized forwards? You can't say he couldn't play better considering who he went up against.

That is true. He was on the SF's. Ron was on EG most of the night. But I think Kobe was on him more in the 4th though, not entirely sure, so don't hold me to that.

Pathetic loss, but I kind of expected it, probably looking ahead to OKC tomorrow. Also, Ron being ejected is a joke, he stepped in to be peacemaker and gets ejected on reputation. You could see in his face after it happened that he couldn't believe it, he's given zero leeway by the league, it's really unfair.
