Is it just me -- or is Baron playing better lately?

He is playing much better lately...but against the Lakers PGs everyone looks extra sharp.

We need to ball to either be in Kobe's hands, or Pau's. Gosh.

Our transition game is laughable, and it begins and ends with Ron Artest. Fish is just as guilty

Why Kobe is so passive ? I'm tired of the rest of the team bricking shots

Gasol at the 5 with Fisher on the court has been a recipe for disaster.

Wow. Ron has to be the least guarded player in the NBA, and yet he still can't make a wide open trey.

Kobe got the ball and the announcers went: "Uh-oh"

I like that. :man10:

Well, the good thing here is: we have the lead. That's something. This Clippers team is not bad, they are very athletic and this is why they managed to beat some quality teams this season.

Clips with 11 offensive rebounds! We need to get some rebounds and STOP GIVING THEM SECOND CHANCE POINTS!

What do you mean? He is shooting 40% for 3, and over 50% since Bynum's return.

1. Not too fond of these announcers. They're not terrible, they're very kind to the players in terms of recognizing skills and accomplishments, but they keep complaining about fouls.

2. Kobe getting MVP chants in a hostile, far off arena. Love it.

Its like Dr. Buss is guarding the Celtic rim this second half. Nothings dropping

We should be happy Clippers missed so many easy shots at the rim. Its very annoying that Gordon can penetrate whenever he wants to and easily break down our defense.

Anyway, nobody is hitting an outside shot for the Lakers. Our main advantage now is that Clippers are having foul trouble. Beside that we are also getting owned on the hustle plays.

No reason 6-8 scrub Diogu to look like Dennis Rodman.

Jordan has 11 boards and Diogu has 9 after the first half. thats unacceptable considering we are the bigger team.

And they have combined for 11 offensive rebounds. They have all of the teams offensive rebounds. Phil better get on our players for that s***.

Just getting out-hustled...as usual.

Reasons we're only up 1:

1. Drew getting outplayed by Diondre Jordan, especially on the boards. Actually our whole frontcourt is getting outhustled by the Clips.
2. Everybody including Kobe missing freethrows.
3. Early in the shotclock chucking (one for Fish, one for Shannon, and one for Luke)
4. Poor transition D, but in fairness we've kept the turnovers low and limited transition opportunities for them.

Kobe needs to assert himself more....don't rely on the bigs. For now he's content to sit back and let the other do the scoring. Early on, I think we made a mistake in terms of giving Drew a lot of post touches. Those touches should have been going to Pau who's a better all around post player.

Pretty happy with Lamar's play though...he's really bailed us out so far.
