Gasol vs. Griffin is a reason to worry...and if we put Artest on him, who does Gasol defend?

Bynum will bully DeAndre Jordan and Kobe will have to play defense against Gordon.

Fish is better suited to guard big strong guards like Davis. So defensively we might have to switch. We should attack Griffin early with Gasol and get him into foul trouble. He will probably struggle to defend Gasol in the post. Same as Jordan and Bynum...so pound it inside early and see what happens.

I hope Fisher doesn't start to drive to the rim because Jordan will send it into the 6th row.

I think it will be a closed one ... Lakers often come out flat in early games , I won't be surprised if the Clipps built an early double digits lead but we will come through in the clutch

Need to win. SA are playing the Nuggies, so hopefully SA can lose so we can close the gap. I know some are saying SA will slow down eventually, but I'm not counting on that until it actually happens. We need to keep winning, and we needs SA to start losing.

I wouldn't say it's a scary game, but the Clippers are better than their record, and totally capable of beating the Lakers if the Lakers aren't sharp.

Our schedule starts to seriously stiffen after this, and there's a b2b tomorrow against OKC. Time for the Lakers to start ramping it up, because we aren't going to be drawing the Nets and the Cavs on a nightly basis anymore, and the rest of the month is all pretty high level competition. Feb doesn't get better either.
