Yeah, I think he might be inactive tonight. Phil needs to put the final nail in Farmar's career as a Laker and make the swap. Ego Ears on the inactive list for DJ

Damn Sasha tried to get another dunk but slipped after getting the steal
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Oh yeah I didn't think of DJ not being active.

Luke has played fairly well over the last 7 games or so. At this point, it doesn't matter whether he is with the starters or off the bench -- since Pau or Bynum will most always be on the floor and Luke can help either unit if he stays aggressive, makes his free throws, and doesn't try to force passes (like those two turnovers trying to pass to shannon).

Time to get Andrew out of here. He survived this game, it's time to leave.

Nice move Luke.

And Farmar -- he won't play much in the playoffs. No way. 5 minutes is more then enough and he's going to be traded in the offseason. Package him with Morrison, that has to be worth something. Hopefully.

Contrary to what Joel thinks, I think the best thing about the shot of the starters with ice on their knees was Brown sitting right with them and interactive with them.

Farmar is such a selfish jackass, it's ridiculous. Pass it up to Ammo, he gets a shot every 2 weeks.

Haha, yeah he just dribbled one off his foot too, but he'll definitely benefit with our bigs in there.. As long as he does force stuff or try to get too athletic in the paint, although that move on Jaric earlier was pretty sweet..

Very good point.. Brown is a keeper for damn sure..

What's contract situation again? Is he a FA after this year or does he have one more year? Would love to have him around for awhile...

He's a FA I think, and we should pick him up cheap. Trade Farmar.

+1

Yep, I REALLY want Farmar to do well, as I'm sure most of us do, but damn, he's just digging himself a bigger and deeper grave every time he's out there on the court.. He's gotta see the writing on the wall with Shannon getting most of his minutes, and taking advantage of them big time..
