I sure you are talking about the guys in the uniforms, b/c they are the ones getting spanked at home to an inferior opponent again... just like at home to milwaukee...

* looks at the score * you got a point.

I'm thinking that if the score stays like this that our guys are going to get booed at Staples again.
“This contract with Joel Anthony is a testament to the man who is second to none; who has worked hard and deserved this,” said Heat President Pat Riley. “We felt that what he has done over the last couple of years in developing his game, his body and his knowledge warrants this reward. If other NBA non-drafted free agents want a prototype to follow, Joel Anthony is that man."

I don't like the way Bryant was scoring while everyone is standing around.

Remember the Lakers should have lost to the sixers. They just got lucky.

Seriously. I turned on the game right now only bc I had to check that we were even playing today. I've lost so much interest in this team it's actually not hard to imagine why they suck so much now. Even they've lost interest.

Phil has never made the finals if his team doesn't win at least 56 games...

No LA Laker championship team has ever lost 4 in a row... (this year's team has)...

They aren't winning without homecourt.

Looking like the 3 straight finals has gassed the team. They could use a year off and trying going for it next year.
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.

I guess this team thinks they're going to just "flip the switch" when the playoffs start...

They're in for a rude awakening if that's the case... :disagree:

Are some of you guys seriously saying this stuff? Unless that was a joke.

We're back to back defending champions and we got BETTER over the summer. Are people actually suggesting changes?

I don't understand how the Lakers can shoot the basketball this poorly. Outside of Kobe, almost no one has been hitting consistently from mid range or beyond the arc, and even Kobe hasn't been great. It's like, most of the shots the Grizzlies were making were the type of shots that you practice since you're a kid. Simple, mid range jumpers, the type of thing that should be basically automatic for a professional basketball player if they have the space.

It's not like the Lakers haven't been open, they just don't hit shots. It's damn frustrating to watch.

Who else stood up to score?

And during Kobe's run, you had Fish going in there and ruining flow. On the defensive end they just aren't working hard enough and closing out on shooters.

What the hell is wrong with Pau Gasol? I simply do not understand why he looks like he couldn't care less out there. Dude just lets guys walk to the rim on him at will. Phil has already taken him out of the game tonight TWICE following back-to-back awful defensive plays on his part either to send a message or to get someone in the game who won't just be sleepwalking on one end of the floor. I mean really, what is his excuse at this point? Before it was people making up BS excuses for him in the form of "oh, he can't play against big-bodied 5s". Now with Drew in there and him guarding 4s why is the guy still being a little girl about going at 6' guards?

I don't really think that. I think they are actually just a poor team right now. They might get it together eventually, but right now we are a bad team.
