Miami is 21-3 at home, this will probably be the toughest game of the season coming at the end of the road trip.

With the way they've played these last two games I'm expecting a blow out by the 3rd quarter.

that's a loss but this one was "counted" in the L column ... the Suns loss and the fact we couldn't confirm at Boston after the "upset" at BK hurt way more ...

4-3 keeps us in the playoffs hunt ... but we have failed to make ground up several times in the latest few weeks .

I keep reflecting on that Suns loss because I knew Boston and Miami were the two L's that were guaranteed and I was fine with that but **sigh**. Oh and LeBron will shoot 100% on us making history and some scrub on Miami will play like a All-Star as usual.

Payback. They got us in our building so it's our turn to return the favor. Last game of the road trip so I think we come out with energy.

This would be a great win. Finish up this trip 5-2 amidst all the drama would be a miracle...

Lose by 40. But that's ok; just take care of business at home the next few games.

This will be a trap game for the Heat. They just owned the Clips in their last game and now will look to take a break at home. That will be a bad mistake. That's the only opening I see. Otherwise it could be another nationally televised spanking.

I wish, but we will probably end up saying "end of roadtrip, back to L.A so whatever"...

Easy loss but since I'm not expecting anything I'm not really anxious.

QUICK PREVIEW
Lakers (24-27) at Heat (33-14)
3:30 PM EST

LAKERS
Won last 1
9-17 on the road
11-9 vs. East

PROBABLE STARTERS
Steve Nash 12.0 points, 7.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds
Kobe Bryant 27.4 points, 5.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds
Metta World Peace 13.0 points, 1.5 assists, 5.7 rebounds
Earl Clark 7.8 points, 1.1 assists, 6.2 rebounds
Dwight Howard 16.2 points, 1.6 assists, 11.8 rebounds

HEAT
Won last 4
21-3 at home
17-5 vs. West

PROBABLE STARTERS
Mario Chalmers 7.7 points, 3.4 assists, 2.1 rebounds
Dwyane Wade 20.9 points, 4.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds
Shane Battier 5.9 points, 0.8 assists, 2.2 rebounds
LeBron James 26.9 points, 6.9 assists, 8.1 rebounds
Chris Bosh 17.5 points, 1.5 assists, 7.1 rebounds

PREDICTION
I haven't heard anything on Bosh's availability, but something tells me he will be in uniform for the Heat. While Bosh has seemed to own Pau Gasol (who is out indefinitely), Dwight Howard has been a strong answer to the Heat bigs. LeBron had a big game when the two teams last faced, but it seemed to me that it was Dwyane Wade who caused the most problems for LA. In that game, Miami pulled away in the third quarter and held on for a 9-point win. LeBron and Wade combined for 66 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds.

This has already been a successful road trip for the Lakers, the Heat are at home and on a roll. An LA win would be beyond a surprise, but here's to hoping that Kobe and co. have something special up their sleeves.

Lakers 98
Heat 106

I don't see any chance in this game. If there has ever been a game where you would bet the house on a prediction, this would be it.

Awful road teams meets amazing home team. The track record also says LeBron gets the best out of Kobe every time they play and that the Lakers aren't at full strength.

At full strength...they could get LUCKY. In current state...its going to be a first half double digit lead and easy cruising for the cHeat...and I absolutely hate to watch this game but I have no choice.

i expect good effort and desire to play for Lakers...all other isnt too important in this game....they are better team, they are home team ...and i dont think season is over if we lose.....4-3 from this trip is OK, loss in this game is expected so nothing too important.....this game can be important if we win, but if we lose nothing, just keep playing

The time when LeBron is on the court and Howard is sitting will be very important IMO. We'll have no one that can individually protect the rim and stopping or slowing down LeBron will take a real team effort, solid rotations and constant communication.
Last game against them LeBron absolutely abused Gasol going to the rim, Pau couldn't do anything about it. Now we don't even have Pau. Gonna be tough
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

Hoping for a win but know it's not likely. At least make the game competitive and don't get run out the gym by the 2nd/3rd quarter.
