Officiating has always been bad, but its worse then ever.

Kobe has been laughable. Just laughable. Worst game I've seen him play in years.

kobe hasn't been himself for a better part of the whole season (up and down)... i thought it would change... i hope it changes.

We need Kobe to be aggressive in order to win this game. Thankfully despite our issues the first half we're only down by 4. I expect to see some adjustments in the second half for the Lakers.

Is it just me or did Ariza torch Kobe in the first half?

Wow...is Kobe serious? Pound the freaking ball inside. Stop pulling up for 20 ft heat checks when you have a size advantage down low. Oh and Pau, ONE TIME challenge a layup by a guard.

Ended the half with a 12-0 run by the Hornets. Lakers need to get their heads out of their collective behinds in the 2nd half. The Hornets are undermanned but are outplaying the bigger Lakers. I hope its not a case of taking the foot off the gas because they have one to give now that they got home court back.

Kobe frequently has halfs like this where he can't buy a bucket and tries to distribute. The only difference is that the refs aren't sending him to the FT line AT ALL, and he's missed a couple of gimmes. Kobe really isn't playing that badly.

kobe isn't the kobe of old... so he's not gonna torch a team by himself but he's gonna have to play better. can't get any worse.

It almost looked like a mismatch. If you didn't know about bball you woulda thought Ariza was the best in the game and Kobe was the role player.

Kobe hasn't scored a point and we're only down by 4 at the half. I'll take it.

Indeed!

On top of that Bynum and Pau were limited by fouls.

According to Reggie's logic, you have to fall down in order for it to be a flagrant.

Reggie Miller is once again annoying the **** out of me.

I've always considered him a border line Kobe hater . Sometimes , though, he seems to press the "hate Accelerator" a bit much ......
