Pau lost us the game with one play honestly.

I hate Chris Paul and will never like him.

This team is frustrating. The last three years were great. But this whole season has just been frustrating from start to finish. I'm still with this team, but it is just so frustrating to see them underachieving, slinking about, letting scrubs dictate the pace, falling for rookie mistakes and generally playing beneath their talent level. It's frustrating having almost no confidence in any Laker shooting the ball other than Kobe, who is liable to have awful shooting nights seemingly every other game these days. There is no logical reason for why the Hornets should have any business taking the Lakers to 6, let alone 7. But they simply have more hustle, more energy and are working harder. I still expect LA to win this series, and it is almost as if they don't even want to be there anymore.

Best to avoid this place for a while....all the Chicken Littles swarming as I write this.

We got jobbed pretty badly, but just couldn't play well enough to overcome it. Close....but Pau botched things up pretty badly in the last minute.

Hope Kobe gets some treatment on that ankle....but we all know he'll be fine, it was a bit of a tweak, but nothing as bad as the one in Dallas. Wonderful timing though...hard luck and bad calls, brilliant combination.

This is a lazy team. I see more energy and effort from opposing teams on a consistent basis. It's not the regular season anymore.

Leave it to the Lakers to underwhelm you. Man they just have a knack for struggling and making it the game hard for themselves. I expected the Mavs to choke struggle in their series but not us. Yeah we'll most likely win the series but we're not impressive at all.

Also, there probably won't be another game where Ariza lights it up as well as he did in the first half. That was pretty unusual. But still, this game wasn't decided on a couple bad possessions offensively or defensively, it was blowing rebounds, losing 50/50 balls, weird defensive rotations(bynum on paul, over and over again)...etc.

We kept ourselves in the game all night long, but couldn't close at the end.

Winning on the road in the playoffs isn't easy. Which is why you need to take care of business at home. If we won game 1, we'd be up 3-1 going back to Staples right now.

Ah yes, the same guy who gave up on the team last year....and then we won our 2nd consecutive. This is a good sign.

Our Lakers are not playing smart ball: Kobe has become a jump shooter, Pau is being Paula, we can't defend the pick and roll, and we are not getting to the free throw line (because we forget that we have a size-advantage in the front court). We will win the series in 7. Kobe can't play back-to-back good games any more. This was his poor game. I expect him to bring his A-game in LA. But the bigger concern is coming up--we would be getting killed if this was Oklahoma City. If we don't pick it up offensively (and stop the pick and roll), then Phil's last hoorah will end in a whimper.
