Kobe CAN'T take over, anymore. Nor will the defense allow him to.

Kobe can take over whenever he feels the need to, his behind just basically said f-ck it today. Our team didn't even give a damn basically now that's some sad sh-t. I'm still holding confidence and say we win the series in a dog fight. But agree about the defense Shane got a damn book on Jelly Bean and that sh-t is working.

But I still think we can win in 7.

Honestly it seems like our problems would be solved if we just stopped doubling now that Yao is gone

Seriously, kudos to mitch for putting together a team with such great talent....but....they're all a bunch of pssies. What good is skill when you cringe in the corner when a team starts to assert themselves?

No he can't. The only way Kobe can "take over" is to get some luck and start hitting miraculous jumpers from 22 feet, over and over. If Kobe COULD take over, surely you'd think he would have done that in Game 1, at HOME, and tonight in the third to give us a chance into the fourth. No, Kobe is not the same Kobe from 06 that can score at will. These days a 40pt game comes with a lot of effort and a bit of luck for him.

Do not start Fisher, feed the ball inside to Gasol, do not double team [might as well take chance than leaving an open shooter consistently], and buyout Luke Walton for $100M.

First and foremost we showed no heart out there. We didn't even try.

2nd of all, we haven't played defense at all in this series. All we've done so far is force a fast tempo on them in games 2 and 3. With Yao on the floor, the Rockets want to be slow, sloooowww, and sloowwweeer. We forced the tempo on them in games 2 and 3 and forced them into turnovers and other mistakes. With Yao out, they are a much faster team and they can now compete with us at a high tempo.

We can no longer play offense to beat them. We MUST play real defense. No pace gimmicks. No more Kobe going for 40+. No BS. Real defense for 48 minutes is how we're going to have to play from here on out.

What so Kobe going for 15 works for you? Yeh, let's run our offense through Pau Gasol and Jordan Farmar. Forget about Kobe, let him create for us, because he's such a great facilitator, and a so-so scorer.
