Overall great game, and they look pretty bad mentally. Don't see them beating us more than once.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

Think of it this way:

a) Utah did not have a chance, the game was boring and over in the first half, and

b) Utah is still > Detroit.

Utah = .585 in the West, Detroit = under .500 team in the east on a 3 game losing streak going into the playoffs.

And the difference in this first round? CLE won by 18, we won by 13. Big deal. We're done.

although i understand the slight anxiety about not blowing them out of the water when we had the foot clamped at half... i honestly cannot be upset by a game we controlled throughout and won by double digits. ESPECIALLY a playoff game against a solid team in Utah.

not sure how people assume utah will just lay down, this is a very good team top to bottom and has a very good duo of boozer and williams. they deserve enough respect to play them hard for 48 minutes every game otherwise a 13 pt win may turn into a 2 pt win or even a loss.

Love to start off the playoffs with a W but anyone who knows basketball knows that the playoffs dont start until the home team loses. we have one more game at home to take care of and then we have a chance to go into utah and take a game like we did last year.

Because of recent history i worry more about taking care of home court then i do about games on the road. we take game 2 and then the pressure is all on utah to win on their court.

Leftymo, did you even watch the cle-det game? Detroit was in the game most of the game, even in the 4th quarter. Please, try again.

They were in foul trouble all night. Which limits how much aggression they can use. Some of the fouls they got called for were very questionable.
