Should be a good game. Knicks have obviously been looking good lately, so I expect the Laker to step up. Sucks that Barnes is out though.

This game will show if we are really back on the right track or not ... the latest 3 wins were against bad/struggling teams which couldn't expose our current weaknesses . Hopefully the team will step up , if not , expect another blowout loss

gameplan should be attacking Amare with Bynum early. If he is to start at C, he has no chance to stop Bynum and it also means Gasol will match up with Chandler or one of these midgets and go to work. NY might probably try to start Turiaf and they might try to speed the game up, Felton has proven to be dangerous this year.

I hope the Lakers are ready to play...right now I have no expectations before any game because they are perfectly capable of laying an egg at any moment.

Must win with Dallas losing. As I said in Friday night's GD thread, we need to take advantage of Dallas' losing with Dirk out.

Come to play with that typical half-hearted effort we do and we're gonna lose.

Wonder if we are just to tired out after so many games in the playoffs. Hard to get motivated for games.

I think Turiaf is starting at 5 lately. Tonight i can't see D'Antoni letting Amar'e trying to defend Bynum. It would be suicidal. We'll watch another Pau/Odom vs Amar'e matchup.

This could get very ugly. I see no reason why the Lakers would win this. They haven't shown me anything in the last couple weeks.

The Lakers need to slow down the tempo of the game and play good D (especially in transition) against the run-and-gun Knicks. Remember that NY has already beaten the Spurs, so they are no longer a joke. LA must give this game a good effort, or another embarrassing blowout loss will make our fans boo them again. Go Lakers! I don't want Mr. Pringles to beat us.

I don't understand what the problem is. Drew is playing well. Lamar is playing well. Even Ron has had some OK offensive games. Fisher is actually playing well too. Kobe is OK.
