The Lakers did win an elimination game against Boston in 2008, but that was at home. It's much more difficult to avoid elimination on the road, which is why I too am worried for a blow-out by Dallas especially when the Lakers have lost the previous four road elimination games by an average of 23 points.
Perhaps that trend ends today, perhaps not. As long as the Lakers go down fighting, I can accept they were defeated. To watch them go out with a whimper yet again would be incredibly painful and sad to witness considering this is likely Phil's final game.

You are right, its that much more difficult on the road because Dallas also knows that if they lose this, they might have to play at least 2 more games and have a lot more pressure. I'm sure Dallas will try everything humanly possible to win this in 4 and get some much needed rest for their stars.
