It's what Magic mentioned at the break they are missing Kobe on the outside... it will be difficult to win this one.

Playing GLOCK would always be a good idea IMO with Kobe out. Or even just off the bench with Kobe here. Brown doesn't see it that way.

Alright we have to come out strong in the 3rd. Can't let them go off on a run to start.

Mike Brown said he misses Kobe's defense. Seriously do not know how this man can be our head coach.

Brown has no clue on those subs. Playing GLOCK can really open things up for us, the kid has some confidence at least ...

^^ Great post and clarification KB/WA/RW. I appreciate that and I think my post was out of frustration because it seems to be flavor of the month here at CL for guys just in a blanket way condemn Sessions defense. It was clear that he was going under screens but it was also pretty clear that it was part of the coaches' game plan.

My bad being too general with that statement about playing ball - obviously you aren't one of those posters, but it seems like a lot of posters here don't play and they don't' get the fact that if you get picked by guys who have 5 inches and 60 pounds on you, chances aren't high that you'll magically get AROUND that screen in a way that you can recover on your own man. The player who's guy that is needs to figure out if he needs to step out on the other guy or not, and needs to do it quickly. It's also his responsibility to alert Sessions. You get this, I've got that now and again, no problem at all with you setting me straight on that. I appreciate it. But some of these other cats aren't being realistic.

Pick and roll is a standard offensive play for good reason. Generally, it works. Stockton and Malone made a living out of it for 15 plus years.

Clearly, the biggest problem is on a team level. I agree with you on that. My point was that I just wish Sessions was a bit more agressive though. It wouldn't solve all the havoc that play is causing against us, but it would certainly help.
Hopefully, with more practice time, and more time for the team to gel, the overall team D will be better, and we'll be able to stop teams more effectively.
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

Hey.... I finally found a broadcast of the game..... albeit in Spanish..... Kidd can't miss from 3....

“The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present - and is gravely to be regarded." Dwight Eisenhower
