This is what we needed. We don't play with effort, we will lose.

A 24 point turn around at home and got out rebounded 60-38 to a team whose center is 6'6".

The team is NOT average. We have a good team. Some players are weak right now (Sasha, Fisher, Farmar) but it's not the team that's average, it's the effort. Too complacent and bored apparently. Maybe we need some more painful losses like this one and friday's loss. Beat some sense into them.

Something wrong with Kobe....I remember the sequence where he knocked knees with Scola, he made one basket after that, everything else was out of rhythm. I think he bruised his knee, and there may be some serious potential repercussions ahead.

Last game was blamed on fatigue. What is this game going to be blamed on, mental breakdown? :mad1:

I heard that Kobe was a limping late in the fourth. I just hope he's okay. After we lost like this to the Rockets with him, can you imagine if we play without him?

Apparently, Friday's huge blowout loss didn't knock any sense at all into them. :freak2: We need to trade some players, then the other guys will wake up.

yikes, any games we play without both kobe and pau will be pretty ugly.

1. We need Pau back.
2. We need to do something about the PG position.
3. Someone other then Artest has to start showing some real energy. This is a disgrace. Being 7-3 is not a problem, but these other things are. I'll post this in the WMC too.

If you want to blame anyone for losing the game....start with Phil and his disastrous garbage time lineup to start the fourth and his unwillingness to pull Fish when he got burned to a crisp by Brooks in the third.

If it looked like the team quit late in the game, they probably thought Phil quit on the game when he decided to play Fish no matter what and then threw out senile dementia equivalent of a basketball lineup with the game in the balance.

And just hope Kobe is okay...

I really didn't see anything wrong with Kobe. He banged knees in the third quarter but he continued playing. I think he just went back as a precautionary measure since the game was already over.

Why did I watch that game?

Is this WWE or basketball. Find myself blinking in amazement wondering if they just threw a couple games.

That should be the LAST thing on LA's mind, especially with Pau being out. The only number of wins the Lakers should be worried about is 16.
