Sun 4/21 - Lakers @ Spurs Game 1 - Predictions & Comments

First 2 or 3 minutes will tell us if that 3 was the game. Spurs come out strong and start with a run, then its time for the scrubs to get their minutes. Lakers slowly chip it back to single digits, well maybe the starters stay in a little longer.

Stop saying game, there is another quarter to go, we were down at home to them as well and end up winning. Never count this team out, we have some strong minded guys.

Yeah, I'm not that pissed actually. But damn, this one had HCA steal all over it too. Oh well, how can we expect to win when our bench sucks so bad.

Was hoping that Metta and Meeks would hit some shots. That's just way too much to ask.

Sad thing is, Spurs are ripe for an upset. Lakers just don't have the team to take advantage of that.

We have 11 minutes to win this game, we can't afford to make dumb decisions with the ball.

We'll have another chance to win a game. I kind of expected this one to be a loss. But I did not expect this 40% shooting.

The Spurs are really not playing that good, we just need to keep going to Pau in the post. We can win this game.

Well, I guess the starters stay in a little longer. Long way to go, but don't close the door yet. Like the great Chick Hearn would say, butter ain't gettin hard.

If only Pau had hit the other 5 wide open mid-range shots he's had today

Spurs are shooting 39.4%. Keep playing defense like this and who knows? Game 2 is a long way off, a win would make it an exciting 3 days.
