The reason we beat the Jazz is because we match up with them well and they have real defenders. These other teams we may have to face, like the Spurs, Thunder, Nuggets etc are going to give us a tough time. Especially when Kobe just now finally decides to go into one of his shooting slumps. And Manu Ginobili is ridiculously good. Age doesn't matter this guy is a true role player. We really need help I was optimistic but my window of hope is closing.

Im sorry but Artest got CARVED UP tonight by ginobili wtf he has like 14 pts in the 4th. So effing ridiculous this team pisses me off beyond belief.

Lakers will lose to the Nuggets next. We need to hope that Denver and Dallas lose a couple so we can get the #1. Lakers don't want it so hopefully the other teams will just fail to get it.

I really don't think we're deepest talented team in the league, on paper OF COURSE, ON THE COURT, not so much. I still have faith in our guys though that we'll get it together, but my hope and optimism is on the edge now.

WEll hey, it happens. Everyone gets carved up sooner or later. Overall, he played pretty good D this season. In fact, he was our best defender.

are people really that upset about this? have you not followed the lakers for the past decade? i guarantee that popovich knows this game meant jack squat.

if anything, the fire they're playing with comes from an intense desire to avoid playing the lakers in the first round.
