Id rather let Denver and SA beat up em and we play NO/Memphis and then Dallas (maybe who knows with them). And then send poor little pork pork home in the WCF.

Me too. Awesome turnaround to get this back to single digits let alone down to 2. Great stuff. Now actually play some D in the second half and let's get this win.

Kobe didn't do anything to deserve a T. Notice that when Bynum was pushed and threw the ball they didn't call a double T. That would have put Perk in the locker room.

Agreed. If the Lakers want to win, they'll have to cut that in half or better in the 2nd half.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

Well at least it looks like we've solved our problems on offense.

OKC hitting tough shots. LA cleaned up most of their crap (i.e. not contesting on the arc) on the defensive end, the Thunder are just hitting some difficult stuff. LA meanwhile has put a bunch of blue jerseys into foul trouble and they're getting good looks in the lane and close to the rim. Inside out works.

Pau took a top of the key jumper that was short. Kobe and Perkins got tangled up at the free throw line and Perkins held Kobe by the head after initial contact and didn't let go. Kobe pushed to get out of the headlock and the double T was called.

Defense is the bigger problem. We need to hold OKC to 30 or less in the 2nd half.

:disagree:

Imagine if Porkins did that to The Kang. He would have been ejected right there.

Those fouls on OKC players will add up and that is thanks only to Laker offense. Their defense is nowhere to be found... can't blelive OKC 5 TO and Lakers 1! WTF!...

Which means we're letting them score easily rather than giving up the ball to them.

Jeez - 62% shooting for OKC. We have to shut that down.

Considering we gave up 36 and 30 respectively in the first two quarters, holding them to 30 total in the next two quarters is extremely unlikely. That's not to say it can't happen or that we don't need to tighten up the defense, because we definitely do. We've been playing pretty good D during the recent skid, maybe we can combine that with the way we've been playing offense tonight? That'd be nice.

I think the defense will clamp down a bit more in the second half....even in our losing streak we've been playing better D in the second half.

Difference today, our offense has been better, but our defense weaker, but OKC has been hitting a lot of jumpers.

Doesn't the tech count reset once playoffs start?

Doesn't it reset for the playoffs? 16 for the regular season and I think 7 for the playoffs.

Kobe can and should cuss the ref 7 ways from sunday in the last game of the season for the hell of it.

You know why?

Regular season technical would only put him out the first game of the next season, they have no bearing on the playoffs.

He should give em the Method Man/Redman walk into Harvard and meet the professor in his class How High treatment
