Sun. 4/10 - Lakers vs Thunder - Predictions & Comments

Wow. I am in complete shock.

It was obvious in the 1st Q allowing so many points and being outscored... that's not the Laker game... Phil bears some of this responsibility now that it has persisted to 5 games... I'm going to get drunk... I'm unemployed so what do I care?... it's the Laker attitude!

Kobe's legs are tired...he had to guard Westbrook and Harden all night. Why not finish the game with Odom and Barnes in for Fisher?

i swear we're playing like we did before the all-star break. bad news since PLAYOFFS ARE NEXT WEEK.....

It just doesn't make any sense. None whatsoever. They went from playing the best basketball in the league to literally the worst in a matter of a week. This has nothing to do with X's and O's, talent level, any of that. These guys have given up and I can't understand why. It's one thing to coast when your spot is already decided but we are still neck and neck with three other teams for HCA in the playoffs.

Why would you be in shock?? fan blinders been keeping you from seeing whats been happening the last 4 games? This team is horrible right now and if they turn the ship and eventually win there won't be an overt amount of joy from myself based on the lack of care in the regular season

The weird thing is that they played a solid game for the most part forcing OKC to take tough shots and a lot of midrange 2s (which they just so happened to hit) but then in the last two minutes it all unraveled. Ridiculously anti-clutch.

If we're even lucky enough to hold on to the 2 seed, they better hope SA knocks OKC out in that second round. We have NOBODY that can even come close to even containing Russell Westbrook. We shreds us every single time, its a joke

It's almost as if the Starters didn't want to come back into the game. They fell asleep while sitting on the bench, and forgot they still had to play a basketball game. There just aren't any words for how terrible that stretch of basketball was from LA. A random sampling of any 5 Clublakers posters could have done better than that. I've been pretty patient with this team and their bipolar tendencies, but that was just inexcusably bad. So sick of hinging my hopes for this team on the whim that they will 'turn it on'. Whatever happened to respecting the game? their opponents? anything?

I'm not giving up on them, but this is just so weak.

The Lakers will NOT win a championship this year if this trend continues: Kobe does not take care of the ball, Fisher not playing 'D', Pao being soft and the Lakers with no three-point threat. They should be embarrassed. To fix things--bench Fisher at the end of game and get ball out of Kobe's hands. Get him shots off of picks.
Am curious why Lakers traded top pick and best 3-pt shooter for Joe Smith, who is gatorade boy. Brian Shaw, you might want to think twice about coaching Lakers next year (because it is going to be awful next year).

One of the ugliest finishes I've seen from this Laker team.

It's April 10th, and we haven't won since the 1st. How's that for momentum...

Glad we actually showed up to play this game.

Thought they played pretty good, but collapsed down the stretch.

And damn...OKC was hitting every shot

This is a mental problem and Phil bears some of the responsibility... the problem has been all year is how to bench someone on the 2nd team to send a message? That's one major problem not getting help from these bums...

Other than a few plays, are defense was atrocious the whole game.

Seemed like after Sefolosha hit that three to put em up, the Lakers started thinking about that losing streak and it all went down hill.

What some people arent getting is that the Lakers wanted this game no doubt so stop convincing yourselves that it was just a lack luster effort tonight. We flat out got beat, out coached, and out executed down the stretch.

Wow! Phil interview said 'I told them they won't win a game to turn this around after the way practiced the last time'. How about that? This is a real problem...

This is true, they played a VERY good game, bench came in and did a great job but costly costly turn overs at the end, where pretty hard for us to watch. We will beat the Spurs? WHY? becusae I doubt Pop will play any of his starts, why would he? Would you???

Yea this is the worst team in the Leauge,, we aren't much better the Cleveland....

Sefoloshas a freakin 26% three point shooter....ill let him take that three at the end every time.

Durant goes 11-15....and hes shooting 41% from the field in his last 10 games.

We've all seen it... career nights for scrubs... scrub teams breaking their losing streak of one form or another... yeah it all happens against the Lakers... this is the only explanation I can think of while we witness a brilliant team act so stupid... they flipped a switch after the All Star break. It was quick and sudden and it lasted a long while till they ran out of gas. They're like a champion prize fighter taking blows for several rounds to get his wind back then comes out blazing at the end... that's the best analogy I could think of... I really have to believe they have enough confidence to win from any seed in the playoffs sacrificing HCA so be it... It could all misfire too...

I don't know why I feel so "meh" about things right now, I really just have a feeling that they're just going to dominate teams in the playoffs (they do have that capability)

Playoffs mean no more 30 min. games from starters and the games slow TO A CRAWL.

Wake me up when the playoffs start.
