Sessions is a beast.

Deron Williams - “I hate ’em, you know,” he said the other day. “I hate the Lakers. They’re so good. I hate them because they win all the time. They’re a tough team. … We definitely talk about it. It’s not a secret. We hate the Lakers.”

He called off Kobe to get his. That takes some stones.

Ramon: yeah, he got traded. For me.

Get ready for this

Kobe, Sessions, and Pau combined for:

89 points (58.6% FG, 5-9 3 pt FG)
20 assists

I actually think we become a better offensive team with no Drew.

Yeah, I can see that. For as much as he brings to the team, Drew can be a bit of a black hole offensively. Not that he won't give you points, but he does have a tendency to hold the ball too long and/or get snubbed by double teams and/or shuffle his feat after using up the clock. There is also that pressure to constantly get the ball into him that can plug up the offense a little.

I am in no way saying or trying to imply the team can or would get by fine without Bynum or that he isn't everything he has been. It's just yet another example of how Potato Head doesn't really know how to make the most of this personnel.

I was pretty impressed with Steve Blake's defense on Nate Robinson. Yes, Nate got a lot of threes off and he hit a lot of them too, but other than that I thought Blake did a really great job bothering his attempts at the basket and played the size mismatch well.

Eh, if Kobe doesn't go for 40 and Pau doesn't step up for 26 (Sessions adding 23) I doubt you'd be saying that, and we really can't count on that every night. We might have LOOKED better because of the hot shooting and all the scoring we got tonight, but if we didn't have Drew last game for example, with Kobe's 3-21 shooting, we'd have been killed.

I forgot about this, but yeah I noticed it too and was very impressed, I was like whoa Blake is all over Nate.

Yep. Only 3 players scored in double-figures tonight. Sound familiar? Only the names have been changed due to Bynum's absence.

We're still a team that has no ball-movement or man-movement from our supporting cast and depends upon ISO's and 1 vs 1.
