Key Matchup
Smush Parker vs. Jason Kidd
While Smush has provided some fireworks on offense this season with 3 20-point efforts and some thunderous dunks, his defense has been shaky. Kidd's numbers are down, but he'll hound Parker at the defensive end. If he gets going, he's as dangerous as Kobe, having posted a triple double early in the season and coming off of consecutive double doubles. Smush's ability to slow Kidd in transition will be key.
Featured Peformers
Jason Kidd 15 pts, 7 ast, 7 reb
Kobe Bryant 35 pts, 4 ast, 5 reb
Outlook
These are two banged up teams. Odom and Parker are the only guys in the starting lineup who aren't hurting for the Lakers and Jefferson is the only guy from the Nets not hurting. Nets are just 1-5 on the road this season and LA should be able to get it done in the end. A short-handed LA team (minus Kobe) beat basically the same Nets team last year in OT. Expect more of the same.

*Tough call here. Bynum may get the start and Walton may not even play. I'd rather vomit than put Sasha as the 6th man for tonight.
