Lakers Cruise by Nuggets
The Lakers didn't need last-second heroics from Kobe Bryant this time around, winning 112-92 over the visiting Nuggets on Sunday. Bryant, who hit the game-winner in Wednesday's overtime victory over Denver, scored a game-high 37 points to lead the way in the rematch. Chris Mihm (14 rebounds) and Lamar Odom scored 20 apiece for Los Angeles, which led by 14 after the first quarter and never let go.

I want an easy team. Their confidence has already been destroyed in the Suns loss. Well Kwame's at least.

Nuggets are gonna take this one in a blowout. And no, im not panicking from the last game. I just dont like what I see from our team so far. Their gonna want revenge and George Karl is gonna get it. Theyll have extra time to recoup their loss of Nene. We dont have the benefit of them playing from a back2back. They know our weakness. If their smart, all they need to do is lob it to Camby and Kmart all day.

BYNUMS COMING OUT PARTY! MIHMS TOO!

mihm being horrible for the whole preseason, and first two games has to step it up. has to.

lakers win by 11. kobe , lamar, and smush all get numbers close to triple doubles. kwame suprises and drops 20 and grabs 9 boards. sasha gets no mins. those minutes go to profit.

heavy minutes by kobe , lamar, smush, kwame, profit, george and yup yup , bynum!

For whatever reason I feel Nuggets will destroy us next game.
I still can´t believe we played such an abysmal D last night in the HOPE OPENER.
Either Kwame turns into Tim Duncan overnight (very likely :mhihi: ) or we just go down. As a playoff team we HAVE TO win at least 30 games at home, period.

Man... the pressure and expectation on Kwame are mounting already....
Dejavu.... :disagree:

Darn it... why can't we start the season with the Hawks 3 times in a row to boost his confidence with 40/40.

Win or lose this season, as long a Kobe gets the scoring title, I'm happy with that. :man10: :jam2:

I think the Nuggets will take this one. I just don't see them losing to us twice in a week.

I see us winning, I think we win fairly easy. I mean this to! Kobe is going to have a great game, Odom is going to take advantage of Melo and is height. Kwame is going to have an ok game and were going to win!

Kobe is gonna score over 30 and I think it will be a tough game like the Suns because Miller will be tossing alleyoops just like the first game.

I say we win though.

Two things:

1) I don't like playing them again so quickly
2) George Karl is back and will have them more motivated than usual due to his inability to influence the last game

I'm scared a lil bit after tonights Nuggets blow-out win over Jail Blazers! :scurred:
But we have 2 full days of rest, Nuggs will have one, so our players will be more fresh.
