Shaquille O'Neal had 23 points and Karl Malone scored 11 and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Lakers to a 99-77 win over the Pacers on Sunday. Kobe Bryant added 12 points and a game-high seven assists for Los Angeles, which plays at San Antonio on Wednesday.

Anyway. We're at home, gonna be a good game, but the Lakers will win it in the end.

Indiana will meet the true best team in the leauge. They are in for a rude awakening. Lakers will crush them.

We're undefeated at home and we played tough Western Conference teams.. We'll prevail... Hopefully we can attack soon and end this game by the 1st half

You have got to give the Pacers the upper hand in the East right now, but the Lakers are playing at a different level right now and I think the Pacers spirits will be CRUSHED after Sunday's game.. Put it this way.. they have to crush them.. this will bring the East to their knees knowing that their best representative right now just got embarassed..

The Lakers are undefeated at home with a 24 game winning streak, the Pacers have not lost on the road all year long. Something has to give. Pacers are holding teams to 80 ppg. They may pull that on the Knicks 3 times and the Magic and Bucks but not on the Lakers at Staples.

Gonna be a good defensive game with Artest/Kobe on eachother.

This is tha PERFECT matchup, if tha lakers win, both teams will be at 14-3!I like tha lakers chances in this game, coming off a big win against san antonio...i dunno if it'll be a blowout, but damn tha way we've been playin its hard to doubt tha lakers now! i think we're finally seeing what tha lakers are capable of doin! hell its not even december yet! Its a home game, and as LD2K has been sayin, "lakers will NOT lose a home game"!

No doubt about it.. the Pacers are DEFINATELY SHAKIN' in their shorts knowing what awaits them on Sunday!!

Wow im surprised I haven't seen any predictions, anyways I hope the Lakers don't come out flat. Im sure they won't, and I do believe they will win.

Damn straight. I promise if we lose a homegame this season, which we won't, but if we do, it won't be against ANY eastern team.

I think the Pacers will be blown away by the scoring ability of the Lakers and the Lakers will continue to play team defense. The Lakes are going to win by 20+

Expect Shaq to have a great game on Foster, and play a lot better then last night.

actually this game might be easier now that Brad Miller is replaced with Jeff Foster for the Pacers...but never underestimate Foster, he plays hard and can dunk in guy's faces...he gave Corey Maggette a facial and especially look for the experienced PGs of Indiana to get things done.

Also look for Rick Carlisle to be effective...hes a solemn but excellent coach, he knows how to handle teams with plenty of talent. Al Harrington leads the bench for them, and his recent game of 15 points, 12 rbs and 7 asts. is too good even for starter levels. Scot Pollard is an ex-Kings that may do some of the dirty work too. Others include Jamaal Tinsley (hasn't been playing much though but dude can pass the ball), Fred Jones and Austin Croshere. So watch out for the bench and the coach.

Of anything, also watch out for the record. The Pacers are the only team unbeaten at road games, 7-0, for some reason they chill and excel there. But this is Staples, aight, the Lakers, 4-HOFs, <ooo> and we have a best 9-0 record at home, and 9-0 is better than 7-0. If you go by statistics we'll definitely win this game.

If the Pacers do win I see rebounding as the major factor. WE need to box out better and not let the opposition get the offensive boards, and make sure that they don't easy shots out of it if we can't contain them. WE need our bench to continue their roll and hold them to a bad shooting night, which i'm pretty sure we will. Jeff Foster, Scot Pollard and Jermaine o'Neal are all helluva rebounders, and they can do damage with all sorts of clashing boards upon us.

The Matchup of the game would not be Jermaine and Malone, but I'll give it to Kobe and Ron Artest. Ron ARtest is the shiznit, having 20 points, 7 rbs. 8asts., 4 stls. and 4 blks. against Philly yesterday...hes just gonna keep on improving defensively AND offensively. Offensive contribution may be a problem for us if he heats up. Look for Kobe to have some bad shots tomorrow night, and don't be surprised if Ron here makes some too.

I think these are the two best teams in the league, and this could be an "early finals priview" of what is to take place in the future. Sunday's game is definetly the game of the week, and I can't wait to check it out. I'm getting really excited!!!!! In my opinion, the two best teams in the NBA, At Staples Center, and its on Fox Sports Net, which measn no crappy ABC announcers!!!!!!!

Trust me, this is no blow-out game. The Pacers are for real, their defense is amazing. I say Lakers win 98-92...

Ron Artest.. who is probably the game's best perimeter defender will be guarding Kobe, so look for Kobe to still get his points, but he won't have a Monstrous night. My prediction is Kobe will score 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists

Gary Payton- The Glove will go off tonight, ladies and gentleman, and Gary will have a great game overall. My prediction is 19pts 6 rebounds , 9 assists.

Shaq- He will start off slow tonight, but in the second quarter he'll start to get going. Look for Shaq to score 19pts, grabbing 10 rebounds, and 4 assists

Karl Malone- A great game from Malone tonight, I predict 17 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists


I also think Bryon Russell and Derek Fisher will be the best guys off the bench for us tonight....call it a hunch Russell will not have a great offensive night but he will be a defensive stopper.

I also think Phil will put Russell on Artest at times, causing Ron to get rather mad.

The Score?- Tough to call this one, I had predicted the last one nearly perfectly(i was off by 2 points). I say the lakers will win by 17!!!!!! score..... Lakers 98-81

Believe it or not, Ron Artest is the league MVP and defensive player of the year so far.

But he can't defend Shaq, Kobe, Payton, Malone, George all at ounce.

The Pacers have only played crappy Atlantic/East teams, we will welcome them to the NBA tonight.

I believe it will be tight at least to the 4th quarter. The Lakers need to shut down Jermaine and Artest especially and also keep an eye on Reggie. I believe the lakers will prevail in a goog game.
