watching Kobe with the flu, is alot better than watching him when you're healthy, because you are more calm throughout the performance.

i hope i dont forget about it when i go to sleep.

Steve Nash is good....but KOBE BRYANT IS GREAT

81 points?

And im pretty sure Kobe has at least 10 to 15 more 50 pt games...and he'll prolly have multiple 40 pt games...its almost normal for Kobe to get 40...is this really happening? i get to tell my GRAND kids that i watched Kobe Bryant drop 81 in a SINGLE game...

kofounder8 sings* did you ever know that your my hero*

but i have got it for a new NIKE commercial

it starts with kobe going off in a game maybe even the allstar game

then it cuts to spike and jordan sitting next to each other in the front row they look at each other and say

"its gotta be the shoes"

cut to a pic of the zoom kobes

would be the greatest commercial ever
"He will never be the next Micheal jordan" but when hes done "there will never be another Kobe Bryant"

SoKaL KoBe wrote:Hey Dirk,

From a team standpoint, Kobe outscored your team 62 to 61 in 3 quarters.

I just caught the end of NBA Fastbreak and Marc Stein was actually giving him repect saying that the Lakers aren't contending with this team and Jordan took all the shots back when his team wasn't contending, so just sit back, enjoy the show, and let Kobe do his thing.

He was laughing every time they said 81 points. The other guy was speechless.

He better get his props.

I have watched a lot of basketball, and I have never seen anything like that in my life. I just sat there and took it all in, and I wasn't even mad my team was losing or anything, thats the weird thing, it was like shock, and every time he got the ball it just seemed like he was going to score. Honestly, Mo Pete is a good defender, and what Bryant did to everyone was ridiculous. Just further proves that hes the best player in the league, with ease right now.

 I was reading through some Torronto boards, of course some were upset and were mad why nobody injured Bryant after he had 50 and this kinda silly bla bla but the majority of th real smart fan were just enjoying the performence by Kobe and saying, well he was unstoppable and its a thing of beauty as a basketball fan to witness this kind of performence. So I completely agree with you.

Injuring your opponent is a very cheap excuse to bail yourself out of a fight. I played a lot of basketball, and personally, if someone GOES off like that, I would look to give him hard fouls, thats just my mentality, how I play, but honestly, when you look at Kobe.. what can you really do? Someone told me Toronto was awful, and should have sent Kobe to the floor.. but if you really think about it, do you want him getting ANGRY after a hard foul, and driving the basketball even more.. I mean im kinda in the middle, I would have liked to seen a hard foul, BUT we don't really have the shot blocking presence to stop him if hes driving the lane... (you'd figure he'd drive the ball more after a hard foul and he'd score more) We have Bosh as a shot blocker, but you need good help D, something we lack.. in order to be successful at blocking shots you need good defensive rotation from your bigs

is it just me, or did Stu inadvertantly let the S word slip out last night? it was in the 4th quater with a few seconds left on the clock when he was telling the laker players to foul someone to get kobe out of the game...that was funny :man10:
