Did you know?

The Lakers are 22-4 since the All-Star break, and are currently on an 11-game win streak.

Yes, I know that :jam2: ^^^^this should be a great matchup because the Lakers are actually playing signs of D nowadays...the Lakes haven't been scoring much either...so look for very much a defensive game...Duncan against Malone, can't wait to see who gets the better of this matchup...same goes for Kobe and Ginobili...nationally televised, we need to play well

Spurs better get ready for a loss. No one can or will beat us for the rest of the season.

Malone will contain TD.
They will have no answer for Shaq.
Payton will embarrass Parker.

This is the game I have been waiting for! They actually have a poll going on a Spurs forum to see which team I will be cheering for, since I love Horry and am a Lakers fan. LOL :mhihi:

Oh don't worry about making a statement, the statement is well made. This will be an exclamation point on the statment. Not only are the Lakers bitter towards San Antonio, they're ready to stomp on them early.

This is going to be a great game to watch. I predict a Lakers victory.

Anthony Carter...that's kind of old. He's not even on the team any more.

Not only will this be a win for the Lakers, they might even blow out the Spurs if they play like they did against the Kings and T-Wolves. Remember that home game earlier in the season when Malone had a triple-double and LA won by 16, but were up by as much as 30? I'm not saying that'll happen but who knows. Go Lakers! Kill Timmy's team. :jam2:

I will say that. The Lakers will BLOW OUT the Spurs on Sunday on National TV. The whole country will see that the Lakers are the best. Kill them Spurs :jam2:

And then they'll boo him during the game. :man10: He's cool, though. :jam2:

And don't worry about Manu. He's pretty good but he can be contained. As long as the Lakers play solid D and execute on offense they'll win. :man7:

Big statement game. A must win for the Lakers. As long as we contain Ginobili, we should win pretty easily. We blew them out in the beggining of the season, and we wern't even on the same page yet. So definately, big game=big win.

See, I don't see this as a "statement" game. We made our statement back early in the season. I see this as more of an exclamation point for our success.

We have way to momentum to be derailed. The Lakers are playing very well together as a team. I highly doubt the Spurs will derail them, but if there is a team that will do so, it could/would be the Spurs.

statement game, we need to show them who is the boss and who is in control. we showed those other teams, we need to show the spurs and get out the broom and sweep up. then we will have shown we currently have beaten the top west teams. And we gotta beat the grizzlies too.
