According to odom1year it's helped Gasol

Gasol well deserves to shoot 6 shots per half. He always shoots at high FG%. In first 3 quarters, more passing game of Kobe is good for the team.

:man3:

He's a 40 FG% player this year.

Yeah, I mean, it's better to have MWP shooting it 10 times instead of Kobe, right?
BTW, I loved how our team is so focused on D after being more active on offense. Oh, wait.

Which play was worse?
D12's 3 missed 3-pointer at the end of the half or the Nash-Bryant confusion and Bryant heave at the end of the last game?

Great half by Pau, he lacks consistency though that's his problem. 15 & 10 per game would be nice.

I mean seriously this is it. I am glad someone can see that is Kobe that is hurting this team with his need to win another scoring record. If he only focused on winning Championships and making his teammates better. Dude needs to wake up for sure.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Yea, Kobe thinks leading this team is putting up 30ppg, we seriously do not need him to score that much, he should se his averages for the championship years and try to immitate that.

How did Denver end up with so many offensive rebounds? They have 11 at the half... madness.

Poor defensive rotations. We rotate to challenge, but we don't box out once the shot goes up.

Denver played last night and are on the back to back today, they're gonna be tired, we get this
Michael Jordan : "My Chicago team are the all-time greatest"
Magic Johnson : "Put me with Kareem, James Worthy, Cooper and Byron Scott, and we'd dominate your Bulls team"

24 in the books and it's tied.... on pace to give up 22 offensive rebounds and commit 10 turnovers. Gave up 36 pain points as well..... All in all we're kind of lucky to be tied....

exactly! By my count Kobe only needs to take 17 shots a game with only 1 or 2 being three pointers. He should be more concerned with getting Dwight, Pau, MWP and even Nash off. Why must he shoot 25 times a game? Yea, he shot that much pretty much every year since he has been a starter but that is not what is important... KOBE needs to pass the ball and make his teammates better. Look how well we are playing now that he doesn't shoot. He should only get 8 more shots this game the rest should be for his teammates. Its easy stuff why doesn't Kobe see that?

Agree. I'm not saying Kobe to stop shooting. Just have more passing game and get all your teammates involve in the offense. I have no problem that Kobe averaging 20 shots a game.

So the difference between a bad Lakers team and a good one is that on the good one Kobe doesn't care about scoring records? I'll be honest: that's probably the most asinine thing I've ever read on this message board.
