Could the Lakers have overcame the Refs? Yes...

But, in the critical moments of the Game, the Zebras stepped up.

Pau had more than one chance to tie it up or at least keep us close. He effed them all up.

fine, but you said Pau was the one Shaq owned more, so how does that work when Shaq scored 13 and 7 of those came against Drew? Logic would say otherwise, at least Pau has some offense to challenge Shaq on the other end, Drew just stands there trying to shoot jumpers, what a joke

Bottom line...

This is just 1 game...

And, it only really matters if the Lakers and Cavs meet in the finals with the same record.


The reality is, there are many more games, and there is NO WAY that they all will be fixed.

REGULAR SEASON. If LA is playing like this in the playoffs, then you can cry. Many are acting like it's the end of the world.

I honestly don't see what's stopping the Cavs from making the finals. Orlando is just bad this year, Boston is looking too old and seriously they won't be able to stop LeBron. Hawks will probably lose in 5....there's no one to stop them.

The only team out West that can take out the Lakers is the Nuggets and if we don't step up our play in the playoffs there will be no Finals.

If we DO make the Finals and it's us against Cleveland, as of right now we would lose. Cleveland is just better than us right now and there's really no excuse for it. I'm really really really hoping we'll peak in the playoffs like we did in 01' because it's our only hope.

Horrible excuses. Seriously man do you hear yourself? The Cavs played without their 2nd best player and Moon who killed us on Christmas day mean while we had ALL our pieces together finally and we still found a way to choke away the game.

Drew played more minutes against Shaq. Pau played about half the minutes that Drew played against Shaq, yet he allowed 6 points to Drew's 7. Drew was much more effective.

I do agree that Drew wasn't aggressive offensively. And there is no excuse for that. However, the notion that he did "nothing" is false. He had 8 boards, 2 blocks (1 was on Shaq), and held Shaq to 40FG%. His lack of offensive output hurt us. He's capable of doing more on that end.

Every game has blown calls on both sides. You only remember the times it happened to the Lakers thats all.

The game on Christmas was officiated horribly, this one was not.

look it was a ugly game for us but it was close but it's not like we got pounded all night. if pau made two of those free throws, new bag game and maybe we could of won. Also you can't tell me cavs came out not wanting to play thinking yeah we beat them once already so what. They hate us, especially when we broke their home streak last season and won both games.Then we won the finals while they got embarrassed by Orlando. Just saying everyone is out to get us.

Yes I hear myself but most of you guys are so highly emotional about a single loss like it is the end of the world. This is precisely what it was like last year. I'm not making excuses but trying to calm the water a little. Some of you guys need to put a Tampax in because that is how you are acting.

Most CLers .... a little adversity = end of the world.

He didn't guard Lebron in the 4th quarter because every time he was initially on him the Cavs would set a pick and LO would be forced to switch onto Lebron, so LO would be guarding him then.

missed two point blank layups, instead of going strong to the hoop, he was scared of Shaq so he just flipped those two weak sauce shots up.

failed to block out verajao even has height advantage and inside position on him.

it was Gasol, can't be more clear than this.

We should kill Gasol and eat his heart.
