Kobe will get some 35-40p game and we finish them off in 4 games.

Just concentrate and block out the noise.

Utah is a very good team. If no injuries this year to Boozer, Williams, or Okur, they would have been a 2 or 3 seed.

If this Laker team really wants the title this year, and understands that DEFENSE and ROAD WINS are the key, they will make a statement tonight.

The odds are against the Lakers. It is extremely difficult to beat any NBA team 4 times in a row in 10 days. But the Lakers can actually play better than they did in the last two games -- too many turnovers, too many shots early in the shot clock (make the Jazz use energy switching on defense and manning up, its ok to play half court offense with a lead and when your bigs tower over thiers), still giving too many second chance points, and not getting to the line enough. If the Lakers step up the defensive intensity (IF IF IF Fisher can somehow play D. Will better), the Lakers will have a chance for Kobe and Pau to close out a win tonight. They must get the ball to Pau more, and Drew needs to learn how to pass out of double teams more.

If Memo doesn't play, this game will show whether the Lakers are ready to play the way it takes to win a championship -- they all say they have another gear. Let's see it. If they lose, the next game will be twice as hard to win, and will mean that the odds caught up to them, and they still have some growing to do to be as good as they can be. When will this team peak?? I hope I start to see signs of it tonight.

Loss

Lakers not playing well defensively and haven't played on the road in quite sometime. Utah gets one game in this series and tonight is it. I'm pretty confident in it such that I put money on it. (i'm hoping of jinxing myself and the lakers win...). So Utah wins and I get paid, Lakers win and I am happy.

Saturday's game is the one I want... badly. Gotta prove you are championship worthy, and game 4 will be the one.

Playoffs don't start until the road team wins.

Jazz are 5-1 since 03 in the playoffs in their playoff home opening game. Their only loss was to Houston last year after winning the first two on the road, they came home and lost.

That should help. Lakers are the favorites in this game.

PROTECT THE BASKETBALL! That's all I can say. We did almost everything perfect last game, except for that.

I want to see them push the ball in the interior for 4 qtrs. They did that in the first half in the two games with positive result. They went away from it the second half and started bombing jumpers and that dwindle our lead. I also want to see some defense. Our D was horrible the last game.

GO LAKERS!

I don't like it. Our size is our advantage over Utah and we are a much stronger team with him in the line up. I'd also like to see Bynum playing in the final minutes in the 4th qtr.

You will find out if you are a true Laker fan with that bet. I hedged my emotions once in 16 years of being a fan. By the end of the game I was saying eff the money please just win. I promised myelf I would never do it again. Have always taken the Lakers if I wanted to bet since then.

Lakers will win. All the negative attention from the media about the defense will motivate the team to come out and really clamp down. You watch. These guys have a lot of pride and although I think they have been cruising (yes even in the playoffs) they'll come out with a lot of fire to show how they are so far ahead of the league.

I think Utah clamps down and wins the next 2. Then the Lakers take the last 2. Just like last year.

lakers will sweep this series. lakers are out playing the jazz in everyway. and with okur out, it will still be hard for the jazz to win at home.

tonight seems like playoffs blow out night with the way other games have been going. I hope the lakers take notice and wrap this one up with a win early

On a side note, I expect it to be very hard and result in a close one, unless Kobe or Pau go banana.

I hope I'm wrong, but I agree w/ lefty. If I'm betting money on this, I'm going with the Jazz.
