wow...46 pages...anyway, i came back just to say

DEVEAN GEORGE BETTER NOT TAKE KOBE'S PLACE IF KOBE GOES ON IR...IT BETTER BE BOBBIT....

dont get me wrong, id like to SEE if george can play effeciently under this system, but id rather see bobit first...bobbt + brown

let him play like a couple min, and if he doesnt' do well ir him. trade him w/e. but bobbit first plz

Just goes to show how passionate people were about this game. How much they got involved.

Kobe went out, the Lakers stepped up!!

Charles said the Lakers were a 6th-8th seed... and then said the Lakers are one injury away from the lottery...

that was the jinx kobe was referring to...

No, he was joking around. You could tell he was in pain, but he was also very relived that his injury isn't worse, like he doesn't have anything broken.

he should be very proud of his team....

this game shows not only kobe, but rudy that lamar and caron can step up and score 20 pts and do the other things(steals- caron; reb/asts-lamar)

hopefully rudy will finally realize the great players we have on this team and utilize them....not utlize their strength and see how far they can shoot a 3, but their ability to make 2's.

im beginning to get real angry with that 3 pt line -_-

Man, talk about bad luck for the Kobester. This is the second time around that he gets hurt against them. :man5:

But yo, at least I can say we rallied together as a team and played our hearts out. No way the Cavs can feel good about losing to the Lakers without Kobe, and maybe NOW the media will stop destroying us so much.

LD2k's Postgame Thoughts

Well it's 2 in the morning, just got back at home (left LA). So it was a crazy night, so much to tell...

First of all, when Kobe Bryant went down, STAPLES Center was in a zone of silence, it was very acward being there... especially in the third row (I left the skybox to go down low).

But this is the game that will change their season. The intensity I saw in Odom and Butler was superb... and Sasha, well I think we all know what I was talking about Sasha today. I'm glad the kid played, the ball rotation was PHENOMINAL when he was in there... I love this kid.

Believe it or not, LeBron James is everything as advertsied. In warmups, he was bouncing the ball off the floor going up without struggle, and slamming it... I've never seen ANYONE as explosive as him, and it's all efortless seemingly... the kid reminds me of a Magic with more skills.

Yeah this was a huge win... we were about to leave at 24 seconds but we wanted to stay... a scary ending but for once all season, we played smart basketball. Our penetration was superb and I was very pleased with this win.

That's about it... other than I breifly talked to Bobbitt before the game. Shoutout to BobbsGirl for calling me as well... yeah, Kobe going down was ugly. But I do enjoy looking foward to Bobbitt & Sasha gaining more minutes. The injury happened, and this will give those two a chance to play; make the best out of the worst.

Well now that I'm drooling on the keyboard I'm going to go get some sleep...

Wow, just found out about James going into see Kobe at halftime. What a class act this kid is. You have no idea how much new-found respect I have gained for this kid.

Fox Sports: James visited the Lakers' locker room at halftime to check on Bryant.

"I just went in there to see how he was doing," James said. "He told me that he was likely going to be out for a little bit, but I hope he gets well soon. (He's) like an idol to me."
