Lakers Stumble In Miami
Kobe Bryant had a strong game, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Lakers fell 102-89 in Miami on Thursday. Chucky Atkins added 23 points for Los Angeles, which was outscored by 11 in the fourth.

I actually think that this may bring a more defensive mind set to Kobe, Lamar and Caron (and Grant even though he'll prolly not get much playing time). Simply because this is against new teammates, this game to them means more to them than the other ones even though they might say something else.

Ask Kobe if he had the choice between winning a game against the heats and losing one against say the spurs (just an example) and vice versa.

he would say it doesnt matter but we all know he wants a win against shaq.

We can't have a fallback because of 3 bad defensive games. This team surprises us, the last two Mavericks win, we held'em under 40 percent shooting.

Ok so we get blownout by the freaking wizards and the sixers yet we are going to go into Miami against one of the best teams in the league who have won 13 straight home games and beat them? what are you guys smoking. If we lose by under 15-20 then I would consider It a good performance.
