DID YOU KNOW?

Kobe Bryant has tied a Laker franchise record held by Elgin Baylor by scoring 40 points or more in 23 games this season.

I don't think it will be that easy man, Denver has some pretty good players, and we better watch out for all those alley-oops, they killed us with those in the first meeting, even though we won.

This is going to be a fun game. Denver is an excellent team, but they play on Tuesday, while Lakers are resting until Thursday.

I believe LA can win if Smush, Odom and Kwame continue to play like this. Also, I'd start thinking about playing Turiaf more than Cook. He is a better defender, better rebounder and better shotblocker. He does not have Cook's range, but he can shoot. I would do this as long as Turiaf is comfortable in this (starter) role and has enough wind to play Cook's minutes (19). Then we can have Cookie off the bench if we need some long-range missiles, and he would take Turiaf's "old" minutes (10-15).

I prefer Ronny in our starting 5 simply because he brings more energy and can defend. Last 5 games he played 12 min. per game, and in those minutes shot 45%, had 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assist and 1.3 blocks.

Cook, on the other hand, shot 41%, had 5 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1 block per game, in 20 minutes on average.

With Cooks minutes, Ronny can produce more while playing much better D. At least that's how it seems to me, but I'm no expert. Anyone agree?

no kidding. havent seen KB8 forever. he's usually on here seemingly 24/7.

as for the game...I think we win it. we really gotta win this considering the next night we go to Phoenix. why must we always play Phoenix on the 2nd night of a back to back? :bang:

I am really looking forward to Thursday. Not only that I don't have work and only have one class in the morning but I think this game is going to be a really good game.

the Lakers NEED to win this game, especially since they play Phoenix the next day - it'll be a tough 2 days for us. A W here will let us get momentum going into the Suns game

tough tough game, i'm not saying ruben patterson is the difference maker for the nugs but he definitely gives them more toughness on the defensive end. have to win this one cuz we will definitely lose the phx game next nite.

I am worried about this game because last time we came off a three day break we came out flat... Here's hoping that history does not repeat itself.

Are the Nuggets Healthy? If they are, is going to be tough to beat them. They also got stronger at the defensive side by getting R.Patterson & R.Evens.

I think Kobe is going to shoot the ball 40 times and make 21 of his shots.

Lakers win by 4 :jam2: :jam2:

Kobe needs to hang a C-note on Phoenex..

These next two games will tell us if Kobe is the MVP or not...if we win these...and Kobe gives us a couple 40+ outtings....then I think he'll lock up the MVP....

If we lose these two...I hand the MVP to Lebron or Nash.

damnit, i jus realized that im gonna miss every laker game from here on out except the VERY LAST GAME of the season against new orleans...im leaving for London on thursday...and im gonna miss this game...i just hope when i come back, the Lakers are in the playoffs, and they beat the Suns twice and some how some way get the 6 seed....

i say we lose this game, and beat the suns the next day....but woudlnt it be sweet if we won BOTH games? what a statement from Kobe to the media if we won the rest of our games!

You could just record all the games and make sure no one tells you the scores for any of them. :man1:

Damn that would be WEIRD. Come home. Watch like 6 straight Laker games in a row not knowing who wins. It would be like a t.v series.
