well is anybody back from injury?
if not
Kobe vs. Kevin Martin
Lamar vs. Garcia

enaugh said. I really think this is our game to lose. Kings play NO defense, I mean ABSOLUTELY NADA. Its almost a must win situation for us, specially since they have so many injuries. They are not that far away from us (4 losses) and thats nothing so we better be focused. we will be well rested.

After a good win, I hope they dont dissapoint losing to the queens. Which could easily happen. Even though Kings suck right now, theirs still that small ounce of rivalry(if you want to call it a rival) that always brings out the best in teams when they face each other.

Even without defense, the Kings still got some offense going, Bibby and such, see how we always got problem with guards.

we better not take the Kings lightly....they jus blew out the Suns without Peja , SAR, and WElls...we must build on our 3 IMPRESSIVE wins over playoff caliber teams....these next 4 games are VERY important, bcuz 3 outta the 4 are against divisional opponents (kings, suns and warriors)

i think lakers win this one by 6...kwame 25 and 10

don't like it, reminds me of the portland game. this game is even more important to the lakers considering that they are at phx the next night, and most likely will lose that one. don't want to start a losing streak right now. try to keep bibby under wraps, and kobe: please play some defense on whichever young guy you're on. no career nights from scrubs like garcia and martin.

Peja and SAR are back. Bonzy is in training :mad1:

funny thing is Kings fans hope Peja won´t return. They think it improves our chances to win :man10:

BTW
Kobe´s best playoff performence 48/16 vs. Kings
Kwame carriernight 30/19 vs. the Kings
Lamar´s last triple double 30/19/11 vs. Kings

so we have the all-ownthekings-lineup :jam2:

Kings play no defense and if Kobe can get the guards into foul trouble, the game will be over soon,

I feel as though this game is a really important game to win for the Lakers for their psyche. After an emotional and hard-fought, effort-filled game on Monday night, I really want to see a team that comes out and plays with the passion that they displayed on Monday - I know the Heat game was a "bigger" game, but we need to see the consistency from this team that is starting to come, but will go a long way with a win tonight.

Factor in the Clippers loss yesterday, and I believe we will be tied with them for 2nd in the Pacific.

i got a feeling kwame and lamar are both going to have big games. i know several people on the board feel we're in the same position we were in against portland..too confident..not knowing what's coming. but i have faith that phil has got this team focused. we are about to go on a big road trip so we need at least 3 of the next 4. kings play NO D whatsoever...as long as we D up we got this game. bibby is more of a shooter than a penetrating guard...we know how smush likes to give up the lane. kobe..please dont give martin and garcia open shots...i know they're scrubs but, gotta D up. :man12:

well last year we allowed scrubs like Kenny Thomas to have carrier nights with 28/14 on 10-14 shooting. We really need to lock into guys defnsively. Offense will be as fluent as it can be. Kings play no defense, nada.

Ronny will not be playing..Peja and SAR will but Bonzi will not. How effective will SAR be not being able to breathe very well with his mouth wired shut?? I, too, think it's funny how Kings fans don't want Peja to return to play tonight. :mhihi:

I'll be there tonight cheering like mad! :jsm:

If the Lakers want to make a push for that elite 8, 9 or 10 games over .500 mark they need to do it NOW. Take a look at these next games:

@ Kings W, 22-17
@ Suns L, 22-18
Raps W, 23-18
Warriors 24-18
@ Detroit 24-19
@ Knicks 25-19
@ Indiana 26-19
@ Bobcats 27-19
@ Dallas (depends on how Kobe plays) but I'll say L 27-20
@ Houston (if mac and yao play it's a match), but I'll say W, 28-20

February is one of the easier months, so this is their chance.

Bonzi isn't playing.

SAR and Peja are both coming off of injuries. Abdur-Rahim isn't likely to play much...so don't expect him to make an impact.

hey were did you read about peja and sar comng back i didnt read that in any of the three previews ive read it said they wernt playing

from espn
The Kings will again be without starters Peja Stojakovic (back), Bonzi Wells (groin) and Shareef Abdur-Rahim (jaw), but have found suitable replacements of late. In two straight wins, guard Kevin Martin and forwards Kenny Thomas and rookie Francisco Garcia have played exceptionally well
