Nice play...Lakers are either counteracting every made shot by Houston or playing good D to compensate for that, forcing turnovers or bad shots...I like that :jam2: I like that a lot

This win means more to me than the Sac and Minny wins. Its shows that the Lakers can shoot horrible with terrible offense in general and still win. They played well in those other 2 games. Shooting in the 30's and still winning. That means they can do other things to win when the offense isnt going well. I like it!!!

Shaq and Yao matchup:

Shaq-18 points, 8 boards, 1 steal, 1 block, 7-17 from the line, 4-10 from the line

Yao-6 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, 3-15 from the field

Shaq wins the matchup once again. Hopefully this will silence all those that think Yao is better than Shaq. Shaq shut Yao down. He forced him outside the paint and didn't allow him to get one basket in the second half.

Sportsline: Malone got a steal in the first minute of the third quarter to move into ninth place on the NBA's career list. He entered with 2,075 steals, tying him with Mookie Blalock.

This was a pretty sweet win! The Lakers were sloppy in the 1st and 3rd quarters but other than that played well. Shaq shut down Yao, the scoring was balanced, George made some big 3's when the Rockets were making their runs, and the team stepped up their D to make up for the low FG%. Nice game, and now LA has the same record as Sac. Can you dig it? :jam2:
