another back-2-back loss.... boy boy boy
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

so are we gunna start clark now and meeks off the bench? 4/12 1/6 from 3 is bad. clark can do better than that and especially on d on 3's leaving kobe on 4's. kobe on monta the most of the game switching on jennings is WAAAAAY better

I think we started 4-8 on threes; now 5-20.

It's because we've got the wrong coach for the roster. A coach that doesn't know how to adapt. He hates bigs. When the bigs score is all their doing. It's going to be a long dry spell. Get used to it.

I can't stand 'Antoni, but let's get real, most of this is on the players, they either don't try hard enough, or do try hard and just cannot get it done. We're an ancient team with so many injuries all season long, they just can't seem to overcome both things, bodies won't let them even if they try, though I don't see a ton of trying on defense.

Seriously? Are you seeing our defense? You think Nash would have helped on that end? I sure don't, and that's why we're losing.

I think it's pretty obvious: we're old, therefore we can't overcome the injuries to build chemistry. The coaching is not very good. It's not horrible either, but we end up playing street ball most of the time still. Not good. Finally, the effort is simply not there on a consistent basis. At least they could try to play defense. They don't. But to compensate for the lack of D -- they turn the ball over non-stop. How's that for consistency?

It doesn't matter. It's not about attempting. You can't be a good defensive team just by TRYING on defense. There's a system behind every great defensive team. High effort + Defensive principles = Elite defense. This is how I see it.

We're watching a team with a lot of guys that CAN'T play defense, it shouldn't be surprise that we suck most nights on that end. Nash, Pau, Jamison, these guys can't play D, they're old. Kobe, don't know if he can, but he sure doesn't anymore, Meeks is undersized, Clark tries but it's not enough, our D is pretty much Dwight, MWP (who is out) and occasionally Blake.

Lmao I knew we were gonna lose, we barely beat the T-Wolves yesterday and besides this back 2 back stuff never works in our favor. It's just embarrassing though how all season most teams expect to beat us because that's how it's been. **sigh**

The Lakers have seen so many 20-point swings in the past few games, it's pretty clear that there are systematic problems.

Also, we have a soft coach who doesn't have the balls to set his foot down. He won't say anything to howard, pau and DEFINITELY not kobe. And thats just not good.
