I think so because I'm sure I quoted them. Anyway, I was looking at the schedule and noticed that game 3 is two days after game 2 which means a long flight from one coast to the other and not much room for adjustments. I'm thinking we can steal game 3. So if we win the first two games and steal game 3...

Since 2008 the Lakers have failed to win Game 1 of a playoff series only twice (2008 @ Boston and 2009 vs Houston). Lost to the Celtics in 6 and beat the Rockets in 7.

Even after losing Game 1 to the Rockets I never really felt like we would lose the series but here...I will be extremely worried if we lose Game 1. It puts too much pressure to win Game 2 and it makes the Celtics think they still have the upper hand on us.

Another stat:

Only one team has won the championship in the last 30+ years after winning only 50 games or less in the regular season (95' Rockets won 47 games). The 2010 Boston Celtics won 50 games.

1 stat that trumps all those is Phil Jackson has never lost a series after winning game 1, win game 1 and we got our selves a 16th championship
